'11 HI DE Juda Parker

Craig Haubert, ESPN Recruting: "Interesting long distance get for the Vols. Juda Parker (HI) shows flashes on film to become a good college DE especially as a pass rusher."

I think your a little late to the party. You need to go back a few threads and you will find out that this guy is about to be bump up to a possible 4*. How is that ridiculous. Oh, LV has some great stuff on him if you would like to read it. An Awesome get Bro.

Just read the entire thread.. I will retract...Potential is there...GBO

No problem, you know, I think we are seeing recruiting in a whole different way than we are use to seeing. I don't know if its that the recruiting people like Scout, Rivals and others are not keeping up with it like they use to, or if we are witnessing something new in the way of recruiting. I'm just talking, what do I know. What do you think?:good!:

They don't have enough resources to effectively evaluate all of the good prospects out there. They're in the business of generating as much site traffic (for greater ad revenue) and selling as many site subscriptions as possible while containing costs.

I am going to wait 2 or 3 years and see the finished product (with CDD recruits) on the field before I open my pie hole and bash anyone. This kid looks good on film, everyone that saw him at the camp was obviously blown away..... I say good pick up and Go VOLS!!!!!!!

fiji's mea culpa was a bit troublesome. Admittedly posting venom based upon almost no information is simply weak.

Wow! Wouldn't you love for this guy to be your boss?

Your first performance review:

Fiji: Sorry about your poor performance evaluation, but I just didn't have time to see what you have done in the past 12 months before I wrote it up, but my blood pressure went up and so I made snap judgments.

I think, no, I know, that I would look for another job!

I hate negavols. I think they're just as bad as bama fans or even LSU fans :realmad:

I sure hope Juda doesn't read this crap, but if he does I want him to know that I'm pumped to have some more DL commits... Welcome aboard bro!

We all know exactly what "insight" Fiji has been bringing to the table for quite some time now. BPV's assessment was pretty civilized all things considered.

when you get the MVP over a 5star in Grant, Tuitt, Drew, etc, that makes me think you are pretty solid. loved his film.

and we aren't looking good for many LBs at the moment.

and he looks mean hell.

Good God... he does look mean as hell! lol Great picture!

I guess what I'm trying to say is that coaches are finding these guys we haven't even heard of before they even get on the radar. You didn't see that last year or the year before. I understand what your saying but its just different this year. We (the fans) are really having to wait and see who comes up next. There are exceptions of course the top 250 and all. Am I making any sense at all.

disagree with that one. Mike Taylor and Copeland for 2 examples.

This is the first recruit I question. Hopefully LV knows something I don't.

Why did you call me out for questioning this commit (which by the way was the first time I've done it too) if you did the same thing?

Wasn't Saban known for some of that? I think I heard that he made lots of offers and then pulled them later on.

Wouldn't surprise me. Saban is the master at pulling scholarships. From the end of the season to the start of the next, lower performing Alabama players should be on their best behavior lest they suddenly find themselves dismissed for "violation of team rules." ***

(**Saban translation - I need more room for someone rated higher than you.)

Guys, there's no comparison in the talent we were recruiting with the previous staff as compared to this one SO FAR.

There's just no argument there for that right now. Kiffin's staff were beast recruiters, hate them if you want to (I do). Dooley's staff is just making sure we get kids who can QUALIFY and who won't get busted for trying to rob innocent people at the Pilot on Cumberland Ave. That's all.

That being said... if we continue to take guys who are "under the radar", then we will be under the radar. Unless Coach Dooley is the second coming of Gen. Neyland, he will need more talented players to compete down the road.

Come on. What part of "have a chance" do you struggle with that badly? IMO, 2-4 actually will become 4*.

Right, and your "opinion" is heavily shaded in orange.

Just because they're our commits, you think they're under rated. People like you do this every single recruiting cycle. UTs 2* guys should be 3*, 3* should be 4*, 4* should be 5*....

Who's to say Arkansas or Auburn commits aren't under rated instead of our guys? My point is, your only basis for saying this is because they are UT commits. Not that you're saying they "have a chance".

IMO, of all our commits to date, this guy is by far the most under-rated.

There is no way he stays a 2* on Rivals. At worst he will be a high 3*.

Don't exactly agree with this. Kiffin could recruit the best talent because mainly his and his staff's reputation. Arguably, Monte was the only one that had proved anything on that staff (coaching-wise). He could get after these players because of his sales pitch. All the names on that staff are undoubtedly notable, it got to players' heads.

You seem to think that this staff isn't at least attempting to recruit the better talent. It is obvious we are. Drew, Richardson, Wright, Arnett, are just ones that we are in on. If you look at offers, we have offered countless others that would rank among the top 250 players. It's sad that this still has to be repeated, Dooley does not by any means have the names that are widely recognized among high school players. 3 staffs, 3 years. But if you notice the top talent that we are in on, are in positions we need.
