This..... When some of these kids blow up and start getting bigger offers rolling in from some powerhouses, it might be tough to hang on to them. Anyone remember Michael Taylor?
From a poster on Rivals:
It was the Top Gun camp at Virginia
He was listed as a top performer along with Blake Countess, Malcolm Brown, Aaron Green
Parker happens to be the biggest surprise along the defensive side of the ball. He always seems to be at the front of the line leading drills and giving 110 percent on every rep. His size is that of a hybrid OLB/DE that will specialize in rushing the quarterback because of his quickness off the ball. Tremendous pad level is at the point of attack combined with quick hands may be his biggest asset.
Parker's effort has not gone unnoticed as he has impressed all three Rivals.com analysts and proven to be much better than a two-star prospect.
...some info from the Top Gun camp...kid is definitely going to move up
volwarrior, what do you think of this pickup?

I've never seen the kid play or anything. I have talked to one person who was at the Va Tech camp, they said he was very impressive there. They also said they'd be surprised if he doesn't pick up some solid-to-impressive offers during his senior season. I don't pretend to understand how Rivals operates, especially this year, but it wouldn't shock me to see him end up as a 4 star.
But hopefully he will give Chuck Smith special consideration since he was the first one to give the kid a big time offer. Plus it can't hurt that Chuck has loads of NFL experience and can get this guy there.
I hadn't watched the AMP vid. I just watched it, he looked very good.
On an absolutely unrelated side note, Jeff Hartzell in that video=
