JB:
“I thought it was a pretty big offer,” Anderson admitted. “I didn’t have an offer from the old staff, the new staff offered me a couple of weeks ago.”

Anderson currently has offers from Tennessee, FIU, NC State, Purdue, Minnesota, Illinois and South Carolina.

“I’m hoping to get up there in the next month or so,” Anderson said. “I have been hearing a lot of great things about the school.”

One of Anderson’s good friends is fellow teammate and Tennessee signee Trae Golden.

“We are really good friends,” Anderson said. “He has been telling me a lot of great things about the school. It would be cool to play at the same school as Trae”

“Right now Tennessee, South Carolina and Purdue are my top three,” Anderson said. “I hope to get the opportunity to attend summer camp at Tennessee and perhaps South Carolina.”

:salute:

Go Trae Go:clapping: Get this kid to wear orange, we need all the TEs we can get if we're going 4 TE. Seriously, kid looks like an outstanding athlete and one who would look good in orange.

Vols still lead.

"Right now that's my number one," Anderson said of the Vols. "I just know that they're always a good school. The education's good and I watch a lot of their games and I like how they use their tight ends."

He'll get to see how the tight ends perform personally when he visits the Tennessee campus for an AAU tournament this weekend. Anderson plans on spending the time not on the court getting to know the football program.

"Just looking at the campus and talking to the coaches and things like that," Anderson said of what he's looking forward to on his visit to Rocky Top.

Followed by Louisville and Purdue.

Decent offer list but I would love to have him just so we can get some momentum going into the summer which was something that I dont really remember us having until around mid June of last year

From Scout interview today, Anderson says There is no doubt UT leads.
:salute:

He will still continue the process and he's not in a hurry.

He met up with Dooley and Lance, said he'll be back soon and Coaches want him to pack on some more Lbs.

Very good stuff

“There is no doubt that Tennessee is my leader right now,” Anderson said. “I want to take few other visits. I’m not in a hurry to make a decision.”

“Coach Dooley was glad I made the trip,” Anderson said. “We didn’t get a lot of time to talk, it was in between the scrimmage. Coach Thompson really wants me to come back up to Knoxville in the near future.”

Does Anderson plan on making a return trip to Rocky Top in the near future?

“Oh yes sir, I may be back real soon.”

Per Scout...

“I went up to Tennessee a couple of weeks ago,” Anderson said. “I really enjoyed my trip a lot. There isn’t much I don’t like about Rocky Top.”

“It makes me feel good to know I’m a top priority for them,” Anderson said. “I stay in contact with Tennessee the most. I email back and forth with their coaching staff everyday.”

To me he seems a little on the light side to be a TE. We have a couple of WRs that a bigger than he is.

Couldn't agree more...Milton is currently bigger than him...I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Milton at TE....

Not saying I think it's in the plan....just saying it wouldn't shock me if he bulked up and moved in order to be the man at TE instead of caught up in the logjam at WR
