So now people are hating on him because he chose not to come here. Awesome.
you must be new or something. double standards are like the law around here. 3 stand out to me:
#1: what qualities should we look for in recruits?
-->we land 3 star 5.6 crowder - "yes! a tennessee boy who bleeds orange. all we need is character and guys who want it and we're gonna be sec champs by 2012! who needs stars?"
-->we land 4star 5.9 arnett - "ahhhh! dooley can recruit! all those lousy character guys weren't gonna get us nowhere! now that we got some 4 star guys, we're gonna be sec champs by 2012!"
#2: do rankings matter?
-->marcus jackson up 0.1 - "woo hoo! rivals says he's a 4 star! that must mean we got ourselves a beast stud now!"
-->pat martin out of rivals250 - "rankings are so worthless! rivals is so retarded this year! i'm switching to 24/7."
#3: how good is [insert player name]?
-->dawson rumored to lean toward vols - "yes! we need a linebacker and this stud is gonna be the next al wilson! the 2011 class hangs on his signature!"
-->dawson rumored to lean toward the cats - "who needed him anyway? he's just some east kentucky trailor trash who's gonna waste his potential away with those bums in lexington. how's 26 straight taste, biaaatch?!?!"
Nope, no negativity from me tonight. I'm too dang happy right now to be negative. GO DAWGS!!!!!
How can you be that happy when you know MR is still the head man?Its not like this is the only year Ga has recruited talent.Ga has all kinds of talent just dont have a coach.
But this recruiting class looks good for the dawgs.
I think the commitment Ga got last night was the best one of the year.Crowells teamate.
Actually, Rogers was a Dooley pull. Kiffin made the initial contact & planted the idea, but then bolted for USC.
Sorry but that's wrong. The kid was commited to us, we are well aware of what happened. Dooley came in and signed off on the original deal that was completed by Kiffen and (X). Smart move by Dooley, very wise move actually.

Trust me when I tell you this. I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH RICHT BEING OUR HEAD COACH, none whatsoever. The man has a winning record against most SEC teams with UF being the obvioius exception. Sure we have some delusional loons who want to run him out.
I'll give you an example. Coach Dooley had 2 terrible seasons before the 1980 season, our fans wanted him gone. Then a well known RB came to Athens and the rest is history. Obviously I'm not saying that this will be the case again for Coach Richt. I still want him to be our Head Coach. I would hate for us to end up in a situation where we run him off only to have to go through a different coach for 3 years.
