I love recruiting!!!lol:
"I had a pretty good trip to Tennessee," Walls said. "I know some players and they have players from Georgia like Rajion Neal. It's nice to know people around you, so you feel comfortable. And there's nothing like playing on a big stage like Tennessee has. I think coach [Derek] Dooley is great and I like the scheme they will run."
Talked to Avery Walls today. UT in unofficial top 3 with Cal and UCLA..Michigan lurking at a close 4th. Loved the short drive to Knoxville. Of course close friends with Raijon Neal, still talk often. Brent Brewer used to live in the same neighborhood as Avery, good connection there. Considers Pat Martin a close friend. Plans to attend the Oregon game in September...that is his birthday weekend. Mom reiterated that Coach Dooley wants players to visit several times before committing. Coach Wilcox doing a great job recruiting him.
We have his former teammate with Neal who said Walls almost committed at the O&W Game and 2 good friends who are Vols with Brewer and Martin. He has made 2 trips to UT this spring/summer and has already scheduled an official visit to UT which will come the weekend of his birthday.
His coach says we are in his top 3 and our 2 main schools of competition are 2,500 miles away. Meanwhile, Avery "loved the short drive to Knoxville" and we have all these connections and the awesome relationship with Wilcox who loves playing 5 DB sets.
I mean, I don't know how one wouldn't be very, very optimistic with Walls. That's just me though.

Scout.com: Avery Walls' mom strikes again..
Thought this was interesting when I was wandering around on the internet. Apparently, Avery Walls' coach that posts on VQ is no longer his coach. Dude transferred again if this info is accurate...
