'11 GA RB Isaiah Crowell

Really i cant believe how easily you can say Richardson is better than the reigning Heisman winner. He won it for a reason.

I agree with him, I think Richardson is the all around better back, maybe even the best in the nation if he had enough carries.

I think in time TR will be the better of the two, but right now MI is the better back. TR coming out of HS had more attributes than MI but still raw in areas. How can you not look at TR and go wow. He showed up at camp in June just running a 10.5 100 at the FL state championships and winning the state title in power cleaning/lifting. He was benching 405 and squating 585 out of HS, which very few lineman are on par with that combined with a 4.5 40. He has all the raw potential to build the perfect back, atleast for CNS and Bama. The difference though is MI has natural instinct. He konws when to take on the defender and when to step to the side to avoid. I saw TR try to run over everybody when maybe it was not his best option but he will learn, but he did not have the instinct MI had coming out of HS.

Sorry to derail the thread just my prespective on the two.

Regarding IC I think it will be a UA/UGA battle til the end. I also will give UA the edge here because why would a back not want to play in our system. Just like I would question why a WR right now would want to. And if UGA season goes like last year I think he will commit during the season, because the UGA dream team will look like a fantasy and CMR will have to start looking for a job elsewhere.

Hey TW, I agree that IC is a Bama/Ga battle but how seriously is Bama in it with Wilder? If he commits, you can forget about IC, maybe IC will reconsider someone else (maybe us) and just not automatically go to UGA. FWIW, IC is saying FLA is now in the mix as well. Most think Wilder is FLA bound and that is probably true but just read where he has been to Bama and wants to see Ga before he commits anywhere.

I would love to have IC, but would love to grab Bray as well. If IC goes to Ga, I think we get Bray so I'm kinda rooting against you getting IC. BTW, looks like Swann will be committing to Ga soon as well as Drew.

Did you guys actually watch the season or are you the type to see measurables and base how good a players is off of those.

I am saying that i think Bryce and Trent are on close to the same level. i dont know that i think bryce is better, but i certainly think he could have been just as good as richardson had he played on Bama's team. personally i think hardesty could have competed with ingram if they were on the same team.

and pat martin said crowell is still interested in the vols.

No, they are not. Richardson likes to hit people.

Ray Drew committing to UGA soon? Is there a source for this? I thought we were in on Drew pretty well.

I think Wilder was UFs from the start, he just wanted the attention. I would bank that Wilder commits at FNL on the 23rd with some other big recruits. But it really doesn't matter who UF gets so I could care less.

I was never that big on Swann and from what I am hearing he is liking UF alot lately from his latest interview and will be at their FNL camp.

In regards to IC again either UGA or UA will get him. Also Bray seems to be liking schools in AL lately to. If you you ask the Barn they think they will land Bray, Crowell, and Blakely. Sort of like last year when they thought Lattimore and Lache were locks with Dyer. I would be surprised if the Barn got any top RB this year unless they show really well in the running game this fall.

Sorry had to fix had Bellamy who already commited to Clemson, but meant Blakely.

If Ray Drew has been a "silent" all along or has been a UGA lock this long (or whole time) it really makes CCS look like an idiot, imo. I still don't think he is a UGA lock until I read about it.

I disagree on Drew jmo gbo.

Obviously a talented player and maybe you know some things that make you feel UT has a shot. But, back in the spring I read something quoting Drew talking about how religious he is and how wonderful of a relationship he had developed with Richt (also openly/devoutly religious) and it sure sounded like he was "All Bulldog." But to be honest, I have paid almost no attention to what's been going on with Drew since then. I wrote him off as a UGA lock. Apparently Bama did too, because I watch Bama recruiting like a hawk, and it looks like Bama pretty much quit bothering to even recruit him at about that time.

I would imagine that Dooley gives off a similar vibe. Especially with his emphasis on turning the boys into men.

It's his 1st time recruiting, so I would expect him to make some mistakes. He'll get the hang of it eventually though.

Antonio Richardson is like Drew with his faith with the only exception being he is not a Minister. This is the same reason why I really like UT's chances over Alabama with his recruitment.

Had Richardson got as many carries as Ingram, he would have won the Heisman in a landslide. Richardson is the best running back in the SEC.

I'd absolutely love to land the Carver duo.
