'11 GA OL Alan Posey - UT Signee

Random, but I saw Posey with what I assume was his family (mom, dad, 2 brothers)...he's twice the size as all of them. Not sure where he got his size from. His dad may be 5'10.

Could be step dad or something along those lines. Or he is just a freak that was born to plow the way into the checkerboards!

It happens, my dad was 5-11, mom 5-6, I'm 6-6! There were tall people in my family tree.

Yeah it happens ...Michael Jordan was about 6 inches taller than his dad and none of his sons are aywhere near as tall as he is

Nice to see him recruiting for us. I am eager to see how he performs this upcoming season. Love to see his stock rise and show Dooley know how to pick em out.

I hope that he was not driving the day he signed that. He could have made the front page ala, Damon Evans. There is new scientific evidence that red panties may distort your vision and thus, your driving. So you might consider that it could impair your writing ability too.

zach west commented on it, and posey commented back saying "u should get one pretty soon man!! lol"..... wonder what thats about....?

cool dude. i was wondering more why posey thinks zach west, who i believe is also a recruit as well, should be getting one (a letter after his commitment to UT) soon too.

Can't really know I guess but he could just mean from any school that he ends up committing to maybe?!? Just a shot in the dark though.

That could also be taken as Posey telling him he should get one. Meaning he should commit. Ya dig?

not a bad offer list for West. Auburn, Arkansas, ND, Cincinnati, Penn State...good size. wouldn't mind another big man.

He has a Tennessee offer too. And according to the Zach West thread here on VN, he and Posey hung out a lot at the camp earlier this summer. Maybe there's more to that comment than just kids talking.
