Anyone have a scouting report on the kid. What are his strengths? Weakness?, etc. I'm happy to have him aboard. I kinda compare this kid to Ryan Karl, wasn't the most highly touted kid coming in, but I hope he has just a productive a career as Ryan. Welcome aboard young man, look forward to seeing you playing on Rocky Top in 2011.

I'm amazed at how many of you pricks can tear down a 17 year old kid. Recruiting is just as much about finding potential as it realized ability. LT is a hell of recruiter and I trust his judgement in seeing something in this player to validate him being offered to wear the orange and white. If you "black cloud' idiots are so good at recruiting and spotting
talent on the football field, then why aren't you in the business of doing so?

Yeah... It really stinks when you have an LB coach that is SO incompetent that he was hired twice by UT and twice by Saban. Everyone knows that he can't evaluate talent like you and fijivol... What were the Vols thinking by giving him so much power over choosing which LB's to offer scholarships to?

This guy may never play a down. But Thompson is a PROFESSIONAL at evaluating talent... YOU GUYS ARE NOT. Some things should be left to the professionals.

I wish a few would just jump off a bridge (a very tall one bc I don't want to hear any complaining afterward) and get it over with. A few on this site would complain if someone handed them a hundred dollars on the street. We must have some expert talent evaluators wasting away on this site.

Its early on in the recruiting process. People are all over Tyler Bray's jock and he was committed to San Diego State before us. Rivals hasn't even evaluated the guy yet.

Most of the 2011 kids haven't even been evaluated by any recruiting service. If CLT wants him that's all that matters to me. I trust his eval of Christian and will welcome him aboard. GBO

UPDATE**** Kid's grown into a MAN early. He is very excited about being a Vol !
His family is also excited !!! So much so, that they visit this board daily :)
I'm pretty happy with a kid who is over 6' /230+ lbs. and can run down the play.
We need LB's and this kid fits the bill, Welcome to KNOXVILLE CHRISTIAN !!!!!

Don't know about the babies but I eat salmon every day and a bunch of other food and I wouldn't not able to gain that much weight without taking a "special" supplement. I am not saying the kid does that either. Maybe I am not doing something right. lol

To the poster that said he can't pack on the "good" pounds. Try adding lots of carbs like pasta with your proteins (tuna, salmon, chicken, steak). Might even want to add supplement like protein shakes or if your cheap powdered milk in more whole milk. That and make sure your lifting program is focused on bulk building, low rep/ high weight focusing on large muscle groups to increase endogenous testosterone production. It would be well worth spending some money on a trainer to review your training/diet and schedule to make sure everything is right.
