This kid is NO M. Taylor! Why do we even take his commitment at this time? I don't know who this kid is related to, but I'm really questioning what's going on up on the Hill.
Dooley doesn't want to recruit 5 Stars that are already on his roster, he'd rather recruit 1 Stars that no other SEC school would've even offered.

So, all those that were clamoring for Lance Thompson to be the DC, now question his ability to recruit and evaluate talent. This kid could end up being a 3 or 4 star recruit, yet people are talking bad about him to start with. Truly amazing how uninformed this fanbase is.

He's only a 1 star because he hasn't been evaluated yet by the recruiting services. If Bryce Brown wants to transfer because he may have family/personal issues, then there isn't too much Dooley can do. If Kiffin was the only reason he came here, and he no desire to be here anymore, then so be it. It's not Dooley's fault BB is leaving, it's Kiffin's fault because he left. There's more to football than damn recruiting stars.

I have been around for a few years and rarely chime in but SERIOUSLY, LT Offer him a scholly and DD backed him up. They see something in this kid and can evaluate talent far better than anyone on this board.

1* = Not evaluated yet by Scout or Rivals

Those that know this young man have nothing but good to say about him, his work ethic, his strength, speed and his basic responsiblities as a student athlete.

Those that saw him on Jr Day thought he was good enough and smart enough to offer.

You would think that LT and someone that guided LSU to two #1 classes might know what in the hell they are doing.

If you have nothing postive to add about our first commit, go play in traffic. I tired of reading the garbage.

For the longest time, I took you at your word and thought you were a Vol fan that was just upset with everything. But you never, NEVER have anything good to say. I am now convinced you are a troll who has made up a account to keep some of the population constantly upset.

You should probably read my post again. I never said he was Mike Taylor, just that it was the same situation.
He hasn't started his Senior season yet. How do you know who would offer?

You guys are right, nobody else is offering this guy. I think from now on we should wait for other SEC schools to offer to see who is good and then just offer those guys and play catch up. Our 2nd reason to offer someone would be after scouts or rivals rates them a 3 - 5 star.
Dont worry about our own evaluators let other teams and scouting services do it for us. Third the coaches should come on here and ask us bunch of dummies who to offer because we are all scouts.

When Nick Saban or Urban Meyer is the first to offer someone "under the radar," I believe the player will turn out to be good, generally. Dooley hasn't shown me enough to get the benefit of the doubt like that.

I hope Harris turns out to be a good offer, but I'm not going to just assume it at this point.

And I am not biased as I have no kids at Woodstock or Etowah. I just happen to live between the 2 schools. I used to work at Etowah so if anything my bias would lean that way.

I totally agree with you. Fiji is totally clueless, his only real objective is stirring us up. He submits the most asinine post possible, and prays that it offends someone.

Im a highschool kid who knows more than you about recruiting. Ive been through it and I know what coaches look for. Sad to say but more times then not its not about the actual skills the player already has but about their size and potential. Ive felt this personally being only 6'1. Ive had numerous schools such as GA tech fall from my radar just because "you cant coach 6'4". I believe you are forgetting christain is only a junior its not even close to next signing day. Reid Webster, who u should of heard of if you have any credibility of keeping up with woodstock area football, was not this far along in the recruiting process as christain is right now, & reid ended up with 17 offers and is committed to clemson.

Several posters said we evaluated him at Jr. Days which if true would be a major violation. So, I'm assuming where going off his Jr. tape. Anyone have a link to his Jr. tape or any video? Is he fast twitch? Sorry, cannot believe it hasn't been used yet.
