I'm sure the Coaching staff knows more about this kid than some of the idiots on here who only worry about how many **** they are rated. I have confidence in Coach LT that Christiain is a good fit and any REAL VOL FAN should also. GBO!!

DD has lied, looked us in the face and misled, this kid might and I say might play for LA Tech but would never ever been offered as our first recruit under the previous coaches...damn dooley give us naysayers some evidence we are mistaken about your ability to handle this program, anything, just a nugget make a decision that makes sense just one. I gotta go play golf this just infuriates the f out of me. He ought to get a big L tatooed on his forehead. Doesn't he understand he is in the SEC we can not win with projects. people live next to the school and haven't even heard about this kid. I'd rather be golfing or sailing today and forget the name Derrick Dooley damn he is a loser.

Let me explain something to all the talent evaluators on this board. Small schools that have limited history for turning out 5 star kids get ignored by Scout and Rivals. These guys hang around the high profile schools and summer camps listening to the coaches, waiting kids to emerge. If a kid has not been to these camps he probably has not even been seen by the so-called experts from these services. If Thompson or Dooley think this kid can help us enough to offer him a scholly than I am fine with that (remember Michael Taylor)! Now that he has an offer from us the services will start actually evaluating Christian and we shall see where he ends up!!! V,B GO CDD stack em up!!

p.s. For those of you that don't think CDD understands the kind of talent needed to compete in the SEC forget the 7 years he spent with Saban at LSU and the Dolphins! TWO #1 classes as recruiting coordinator for Saban! Relax and enjoy!!! V,B

you nut jobs do realize one recruiting service (rivals) hasnt even ranked players this early and the other (scout) hasnt even evaluated more than half the kids.

Im proud the young man wants to play for my beloved team.

Most of you should leave the recruiting to the coaches and stick to trying to color between the lines.

Harris was 1st team all county yet our fellow VNers who are from that area and claim to follow football there, havent heard of this guy and are critiquing CLT and CDD ...

Ok people...Cherokee County is not home to the hotbed of GA HS football. I think all the teams combined in the county have won 2 state playoff games in the last 3-4 years. Maybe 3. If he was all county in some other areas, I would be more excited. I'm thrilled he is a quality kid and maybe I will be wrong. Nothing would make me happier. But I was hoping our first committ of 2011 would be something a little more exciting.

I am interested however in pics of his mom. LOL

Ive played 2 years with christain and hes one of the hardest working kids on our team. volfanstuckinga is right etowah has not been the prime recruiting spot but in the past 3 years it has been in cherokee county since we got our new (& outstanding) head coach. i believe he is probably just a tad bit biased since woodstock and etowah are only a few miles apart from eachother. he may not fit the mold people were expecting but this just means you skeptics are in for a bigger suprise b.c. he is the real deal & hes still got his senior year to perform and build even more
