Do you seriously think we give a crap about UF or Meyer? The unfortunate fact is AJ does. His actions pretty well map that out for you. This isn't looking around, the kid wants to play LB for the Gators. I must have missed the memo that tells us that saying a guy is most likely going to jump ship to go to UF suddenly makes me a Gator fan. :eek:lol:

What actions are those? The fact he said he IS a VOL? The fact that you think all Meyer has to do is offer a kid and he jumps ship and heads to Florida either makes you a Gator fan or a moron. You pick.

Hubbs said it will be a battle for him, and I don't doubt that. Hubbs also said Tennessee is in the drivers seat. So I will have faith. In Hubbs I trust!

Hey we're all Vol fans at least the good ones are. I'd much rather be wrong and AJ end up a Vol than be right. All the visits to Gainesville though really make me wonder especially when everyone has said it would be a battle to keep the kid until NSD. I wouldn't be worried if he were visiting different schools and just taking trips.

AJ Johnson is not Tom Smith or Maurice Couch, I certainly hope he sticks with us, but just because Couch and Smith rebuffed Meyer does not mean Johnson will as well

We have landed the kid....he's ours to lose...and Smith and Thompson will not let this one get away..

This is a glass half full/half empty situation...there's as much (IMO..more) reason to believe will keep him as there is to think we'll lose him...

To believe as adamantly as some on here do that he's basically a Gator lock now shows where those people fall on the half full/half empty scenario

Look I hope A.J. is a Vol as much as everyone but ignoring the facts isn't going to make it more likely. He likes Florida. He's taken 2 unofficials to UF (since committing to UT) which is at least a 6 hour drive from Gainesville to Gainesville. He has interest in UF. IF UF has interest in him he's likely to flip.

Congrats you guys cited 2 instances where UT won a recruit over Florida...want to count how many have gone the other way?

It's easy for anyone to say they're not interested in UF when they can't even commit in the first place.

Devrin Young said for months he wasn't interested in UT, but he committed on the spot when he got an offer.

I smell what you're steppin' in! Johnson said the trip to Florida is what it is. A trip. Then said, "I'm a Vol." Good enough for me.

Yeah...just like ignoring the facts that favor us isn't going to make his flip more likely either

You shouldn't chastise people for ignoring "facts" like your opinion of how much Johnson likes UF while at the same time ignoring the fact that he has committed to Lance Thompson twice now and publicly declared that his commitment to UT is still firm
