I would liked to have had him.....but not disappointed at all. Very pleased with this class. Dooley and staff can recruit.

This is kind of what I was wondering too. He must have been receiving some bad information or outright lies from some other recruits, because his so called "dream team" didn't even come close to happening. We struck out big time on two badly needed prospects and unless there's something else coming down the pipe, which I think most of us know by now there isn't, it unfortunately looks like we're done for this year.

LOL at the interviewer on espnU thinking "Nick Who?" was referring to Nick Saban. Dude, you do this for a living!

This is definitely not a "We didn't need him anyway" post. But losing Dawson stung more than losing Wright. Dawson will be a stud LB. I think Wright is a little bit overrated (and I would've thought that even if he had come here).

Sorry guys. Several people around the Carver program have said AU for a long time. That's the one thing I don't like about recruiting. Recruits lead on another team just to build suspense for their announcement.

FYP. I absolutely hate that we missed on big time tackles again (Couch aside). It is laughable how bad we classically are at getting DT's. Maybe next year is the magic year. Still a good class, but I really wanted some more ammo for the trench warfare.

I hate missing on both Gabe and Jernigan but we still have Couch.

Next years class is loaded with some big time DTs so thats something to look forward to,

I don't think anyone is really expecting anything from Carson. Couch on the other hand should be able to come in and contribute fairly soon since he's a juco guy. We'll need him too because we're still going to be very thin at DT this coming season.
