Why get uptight because an 18 yr old kid is enjoying the game and his one and only chance to do this?? Early this summer when the recruiting season first kicked off, Gabe told everybody that he was going to play the game to the hilt and that he was not going to be telling the truth about who he was leaning to. To date, I do not think he has changed around much about who his leader is -- he has pretty much stuck with Auburn, at least verbally, but he has mostly stayed quiet. Why are folks getting upset???

Compared to Arnett, Gabe has been a perfect angel all through the process. Give the kid a break.

Still think Gabe is going to be a Vol on NSD.

mlsoft

Arnett didn't lie to coaching staffs and reporters tho

LWS is the most reliable poster on here.

not to burst anyone's bubble but when it comes to predicting recruits actions, reliabiity is not a word to be used with predictions. It is all a crap shoot when guessing on recruits. Coaches can't even tell til the letters hit the complex. that is only time they let out a breath.

we had Perry and Shepherd signing morning verbally, but when papers hit they were in Baton Rouge..

Painful for sure.

Fair enough. But there's unreliable and there's unreliable. I'd rather have the unreliable knowledge that the coaches have than the much more unreliable knowledge that most of us have.

Russell Shepherd? Are you serious?

Not Russell. He talking about the LB

Yeah the LB. I think it was Kelvin Sheppard. He was from Stone Mountain, GA. It was him and Perry Riley who played safety at Stone Mountain with Sheppard. Both were fully expected to sign with UT on NSD. Didn't happen. I remember it well.
