For that matter, Wright said his interest in Auburn has little to do with the Tigers playing Oregon in the Bowl Championship Series national championship game Jan. 10 in Glendale, Ariz.

“It plays into it a little bit,” Wright said. “But I wouldn’t be too worried about it if they weren’t (in the title game) - as long as they’re kind of successful, make a bowl game and play hard, kind of like Tennessee did (Thursday) night.”
