I heard that Wright has a Auburn visit set up after his announcement date. Anyone know anything about this? I didn't know he had an announcement date set. If this is true it may not be good

Suppose to be announcing at the US Army AA game and then supposedly has an OV to Auburn the following weekend per Hubbs on VQ.

If true it sounds a little bit like the Arnett deal where he sets an announcement date the week before he is suppose to OV Tennessee and then announces for us before his visit. I don't think he has made a decision and if we do sway him I would say the OV to Auburn would get cancelled. It's not like he hasn't been to their campus enough to know what he'd be getting anyways.

Why the heck would anyone get in an arguement with JMoore? Guy has never been anything but nice on here and try to inform based on the research he has done. Find someone else to argue with.

Hubbs also says that he hasn't spoken to Wright in quite some time ...

... for example, I believe Wright is playing in the Under Armour bowl (Jan 5) rather than the Army AA Bowl (Jan 8).

If you go back and review Gabe's history using mine or others' posts here, it paints a picture of a kid that loves playing the game (especially verbally), but his actions tell me he will be a Vol on NSD.

Wright is playing in the UA game right? If so thats Jan 5th. If he is playing in the Army game thats Jan 8th. Wright has an OV set up for UT on the 14th of Jan & Auburn the 28th IIRC.

Yea thats true, I was just asking which game he was playing in. I cant remember if its the UA game or the Army game.

Exactly. Anytime Auburn is your primary competition for a big time recruit, there is no such thing as a "lock". They have "ways" of changing kids minds.

GT obviously has some inside info and JMoore always has insight by following recruiting so close. Based on their opinions, we should all feel pretty confident about Gabe. Is it over, no way. Do we look good here, sure...

Or how about Wright coming to the UAB-Tennessee game early in the season instead of going to the South Carolina-Auburn game that was a 7:45 ESPN game with both teams undefeated & ranked in the top 20.
