Gabriel Wright: AHHHHH WASSUP MY DUDE!!!
Pat Martin: Vol Nation wants you man
Gabriel Wright: I MAY,Want vol nation!!!1
Pat Martin: Come on board so we can **** with offensive cordnators heads!!
Gabriel Wright: lol Patience my friend plus u know i woudnt commit on fb lol imma hitcha.
Pat Martin: Bet my boy

If he commits to UT tomorrow I would be worried until NSD. If he commits to Auburn tomorrow, I would think we have a shot until NSD. It doesn't matter who gets his commitment right now, it matters who gets the signature on NSD. I'm hoping his mom is won over by CDD because I don't know that she is as likely to change her mind as Gabe. If he wants immediate playing time I think he gets it here.

I looked at his film on youtube and it looks really good, showed great speed off the edge and good strength and power inside.

Just out of curiosity, I wonder what the Barners think about Wright? Do they think this is a smokescreen too? I mean the kid does play a good game, regardless of if we are the leader or not

I'm not saying it means anything...but if he's making friends with current commits that can't hurt our chances. I still think all that facebook stuff is just for show.

IMO Wright is just saying all that stuff about Auburn to keep people around him off his back about it. He lives 30 minutes away from AU & they are alot of AU fans in his town. I think Wright knows that he can come in & play from day 1 at UT. I think he is sold on UT but he needs the 100% approval of momma.

That's where Dooley works his good ole southern boy magic, eh?

When it comes to Momma's, I think I would rather have Dooley and Smith than Chizik and Trooper or whatever assistant is recruiting him.

Lol. Can anyone translate this to English?

Sorry.

They're all on him but Tracy Rocker is his primary recruiter. He's no Chuck Smith but he played a little D-line himself. He won the Lombardi and the Outland trophy at Auburn in '88.

Barry Every 6 days ago:

Wright has a great powerbase and a barrel chest but his arms are shorter than desired for a defensive tackle. Wright has added some bad body weight so trimming down will only make him more explosive. If he comes to camp in shape he could see playing time early. Athletic defensive tackles are hard to come by and he is relentless in his pursuit of the ball. Durability at this position is always an issue so staying healthy will be the real key to success for this interior lineman.

He needs to quit worrying about where everyone thinks he's going and get to work.

Has since became good friends with Ray Drew tripping together on some campuses. Here's a snippet of the article fromthe AJC.

Now he has an official visit set for LSU this weekend. He’s planning an early-December trip out west to UCLA with new friend Gabe Wright, a fellow defensive line prospect from Carver-Columbus. He’s talking to another recruiting pal, Stephon Tuitt, about maybe checking out Notre Dame. Michigan came up in an earlier conversation. Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Tennessee remain ever-present on his radar.
