well i hope we havint been putting all our eggs in his basket. who else are we going after? all i ever heard about was this dude and he is going to auburn...

what DT's are we going after...cuz as of right now we need about 3 more at least...

We are recruiting several DT's and are in the mix with Johnson, Gosha, etc. All indications look like we are after a DT from the Juco ranks. Not sure who it will be yet, we really want Couch, but who knows what is going to happen. Way to early to know...

I said he wouldn't be a Vol 2 months ago and noone wanted to hear it. GT09 doesn't know what he's talking about... Rivals or no Rivals. A.J. Johnson received 4th star from Rivals (where he apparently works) a few days after that post. Auburn is the clear-cut favorite to land GW.

We'll see. I don't think anyone knows where this kid will land, not even Gabe Wright. He changes his mind a lot.

The only school that has been consistent with this kid has been Auburn but I do agree that he changes his mind from week to week depending on who is showing him love at the time.

Was Wright at the AU game this weekend?

If so, it's understandable why he'd be saying the things he said in that article...

The kid is obviously impressionable (what 17 year old isn't?), wish-washy, and enjoys playing the recruiting game so why would anyone be surprised for him to react like that to such an intense game

I'll go on record saying we are still in good shape with Gabe Wright and it has nothing to do with what LV or anybody else on here says. Wright is just playing the game and unless something changes he will be a Vol.

My understanding the main reason for GW sticking with AU on the top is his mother. She loved the staff and the school. If she has not been to UT yet I can understand, but what I am hearing that might be the only reason AU is still in the lead. I am also pretty confident that it is between UT and AU for his services.

Thats great news! Even though Georgia is on the road he could have traveled over to auburn for their big game tonigt.

Because he had won a National Title before, sent numerous players to the NFL as a Head Coach, coached in the NFL himself, and coached in the SEC. Nothing beyond that though....
