very good. top 3 behind Auburn and Bama.

but Bama is not contacting him anymore and it seems he is liking UT more and more every day.

Yea I read that he posted on Da'Rick's wall on TOS as well. That's awesome. He loved the visit when he came here, had a great time at the camp, recently named us in his top 3 but his number 2 Bama has quit recruiting him so that makes us number 2 and then Martin starts hitting him up on facebook about the Vols and how they could be part of the turn around here. He then takes it upon himself to post on Da'Rick's and CMiller's wall. I can almost gurantee you the Vols are on his mind hard and we could very well move to 1 spot soon. He's going to be a tough one all the way until NSD but IMO we are in great position and have been for a long time now.

yea. he said he camped with ya'll but ya'll haven't talked to him since then. that was about a week or so ago so ya'll may have by now.

apparently other Bama fans knew about it cuz either TideWarrior or Capstone posted something about how Bama was doing us a favor.

Maybe TW & Cap weren't aware that Gabe and his mom visited UA weekend before last. It looks like Gabe is one of those that drifts somewhat with the current prevailing wind. Wants a lot of love and gives it back to whoever is currently giving him some or the most. It can be Bama one week, UGA the next, AU the next, so what the heck, UT might as well jump into the fray.

I dunno. But I know I read him say that he hasn't talked to Bama since camp.

Just spoke to him, that's his list but it's pretty wishy washy, needless to say TN is doing well here. Will be easy to jump over Bama IMO.

I think jumping UA will not be hard. Apparantly we have backed off somewhat. Not sure why maybe room in the class or others that might be showing us more love than GW. I wish we would get him but very little in the past month regarding him and UA.

He has been consistently naming Auburn, Bama, and UT as his top 3 (in order) for the past couple of weeks.

Yeah. Looks like UT is in the mix now and maybe UGA not as much, but with Gabe that can change quickly just due to him visiting somewhere like UGA again or maybe Clemson, FSU, etc.

Gabe's pretty wishy washy. Seems to want/need constant courting. I don't think it's that Bama has cooled on him, I just don't think Bama is going to bother to love him up day-in and day-out from now until NSD like he wants.

Bama is recruiting him straight up, wants him and will take a commitment from him at any time he's ready to make one. But I don't think Bama will save him a seat on the bus all the way until NSD without a verbal commitment.

There are other excellent DLs on Bama's board that have very strong interest in rolling with the Tide. Gabe probably better make up his mind about whether or not he wants to go to Bama fairly soon.

JMHO.

Well, LV, you know as well as I do that you can't take everything that these kids say to recruiting reporters to the bank.

I've seen plenty of very conflicting quotes from kids (at about the same time) coming from different reporters. You probably have too.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying at all that I think UT is not a serious contender for Gabe Wright. If I were UT I'd recruit him. UT probably has as good of a shot as Bama, AU or UGA. Heck he could end up a Clemson Tiger by the time it's all said and done.

Thats it right there. The longer he waits I do not see a spot for him. He likes the attention and CNS does not give it like other coaches will. If a spot is there come NSD and he wants to commit ok then but if others commit before him he will end up with no spot at UA.
