The offseason could be very interesting for AU.

The NCAA is about to burn that mother to the ground.

Right now this is a he said, she said story. In fact, Auburn has not been implicated as of now. There is a new story about Urban Meyer being involved in this somehow and I naturally have to check on Bama and make sure that they are not sitting in the corner snickering for a reason here.

As to the present story that they (someone) offered him at a $200,000 price tag to go to MSU. Looks like they were bidding a little too high for the Starkville economy.

I am not a football player and it would take a substantial sum for me to go there also. Afterall, it is Mississippi State.

if MSU offered him that much money and he chose Auburn then they gave him money. It's a matter of how well Auburn covered up their tracks.

Not trying to be a jerk, but Auburn has this guy named Cam Newton who is a bit on the flashy side.

And the Offensive Scheme Gus Malzahn runs is hardly a traditional smash mouth style that depends on bringing on the D. I think 3 or 4 of their games have had over 60 points total scored. The Arkansas - Auburn game was hardly a smash mouth defensive struggle.

And perhaps the three best receivers in the NCAA are in the SEC - Bama Julio Jones, Georgia A.J. Green and S.C. Alson Jefferies.

I'd take Greg Childs over Julio Jones in a heartbeat.

Sure, but what's your take on that Alson Jefferies character?

Jeffrey is probably better overall than Julio and Greg Childs. AJ Green would be my 1, followed by Alshon at the 2 spot. I have always felt like Julio Jones has underachieved relative to the expectations everyone had for him while AJ Green has lived up to or exceeded them.

Not tryin to be a jerk, but both Flashy Cam and Gus M. will be gone before Wright ever plays a down and the Barners will be ****e once again!

I love Greg Childs, but Julio can block with about any WR in the country. Not too mention he's not in a system to showcase his skills. He'd get 30 more catches in a more pass-happy system.

Ok, ok. They are a little flashy based on the unconventional offense. I don't think Newton's flashy though. Dude goes about his business, & does it well. I also contend that top notch receivers don't equal flash. I mean, they're not acting like Ochocinco or TO with tweets & TV shows. But, I'll give you that Auburn has a little offensive non-smash mouthiness flash.

Arkansas & Florida, though. Not flashy. Not UF this year. Arkansas has a stud pocket passer & more conventional offense. Not flashy IMHO.
