GA is loaded! They can't keep them all in state. CDD is going to get UT back to the glory days with all the talent there.

I guess he is a freak if he's 11 feet tall like it says in your title. How much does he weigh-620 lbs.? If he's just the 2nd best, the best DE must be around 11' 5". :peace2:

I think the best one was killed by a young shepherd boy and a sling.

Yellow Jackets, Hurricanes at the top for Stephon Tuitt

ESPNU 150 defensive end Stephon Tuitt (Monroe, Ga.) has placed both Georgia Tech and Miami-FL atop his list recently but it appears the Yellow Jackets are No. 1 at this time, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

"It was wonderful down there, a beautiful day," Tuitt said after attending the program's junior day. "I like the school and everything really. It has gotten to the point where I had to start thinking about the degree and what it would mean to have it and it's hard to beat a degree from Tech."

Notre Dame, Georgia, Clemson, Auburn and Tennessee round out Tuitt's top group.

Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisville and Illinois are among his other scholarship offers.

“I’m going to see if I can make it down to a couple schools that I like,” he said. “I’m going to try to get down to Tennessee, Miami, and then I’m going to try to make it up to Notre Dame."

What he is saying publicly and what he is saying privately is two totally different things. GT might be in for a suprise.

BTW, if he puts on more weight, he may move inside. He is a good player but I don't see him committing till closer to signing day. He has even said publicly he will be taking all of his officials and YES I think we get one of the officials!

Not sure who you a fan of...but Tuitt has said he's visiting GT, Miami, ND and Clemson.

Also whoever your getting your info from may be a little off...he's saying nothing different privately. He's almost committed to GT several times...however if he visits Miami watch out for them. First time I met Tuitt was when he first started at Monroe and he had a Miami hoodie on. That's where he's originally from and has a lot of family in the area.

Correction, he almost committed to Miami. Yes he is saying different things privately.

Who am I a fan of? Whose board am I on?

"Seeing things what stands out is that Tennessee a big place. It's not small at all. I felt good up there. I knew the stadium was big, but the whole area is big. I want to see Tennessee again. I want to see more about the school. I am coming back up there in a couple of weeks."

Article sounded pretty positive.

He will be back for another unofficial visit to UT in just a couple of weeks.

Said he sat down with Wilcox for an hour or so just talking about the defense and how he will be used.

fwiw, on this trip, he came up with Pat Martin so I'd say he will be coming back with him for the next trip too which is only more good news for the Vols.

Great news, especially that he is developing a relationship with Pat Martin. The GA Dream Team is gonna be playing in Neyland Stadium!

LV, we are in the running for so many good DEs - who are your favorites, assuming we only have room for ~3?

didn't get to talk to CCS because of a family emergency. Him and Smith will hit it off his next visit.
