Makes sense.
But to say he'd take us from a 6 win team to a 8-9 win team is crazy.
Maybe. But one could also look at it that we were the length of Pigs fingertip plus 3 inches against Vandy from being 7-5 instead of 5-7.
Supposedly Matthews said on the radio there was a transfer coming and it was not Coker and that it would be a major pickup. Then it was discovered his father was in bad health. So some rumors and speculation both...
I'd say S Mouhon would be considered a major pickup. Big plus that he knows this staff and system. I'd think he could make the transition about as seamless as any transfer I can recall. His familiarity with the staff and defense would also be a big help for all the new guys coming in in the front 7. With AJJ (hopefully) being our only returning starter in the front 7, we could really use another guy that the new guys can look to for help learning the D and leadership, S Mouhon would be an excellent addition. Hope it happens. Hope his father is doing well regardless.
If he indeed does transfer to UT without having to sit a year, couldn't he enroll and join the team by this upcoming semester in Jan?
When does classes at UT start? I'm sure he'd want to play in the Belk Bowl to finish this season out and that's on December 28th. Would he have enough time to get the paper work and things needed in time?
The only reason I said up to 10, because a 3rd down sack most of the time takes away points. Pressure will mess up the QB more, and Silverberry would be our best instantly. If we cause more bad throws, there will be less passes caught. If passes don't get caught, the ball doesn't move. Good pressure can prevent bad plays by busted coverage also.
So you think I'm right? We could win 16 games with three Silverberries? At least 13 wins with two though, right? We are so close to a national championship that I can taste it!
