'11 GA CB Justin Coleman (TN Commit 7/29)

Face it Fulmer screwed the pooch his last several years, slacked on building the program and thought he could coast JoePa style until the end. We now have a severely crippled roster which Dooley will have a hard task at rebuilding due to the lack of depth and the current "state of the program" which as mentioned above has gone a decade without a BCS bowl game. It will happen, but it won't happen in a year. We need to sit back and let Dooley take a stab at righting the ship. If he fails after a 3-4 year time span then move on to the next schmuck willing to try their hand at turning our prestigious program around and getting us back to national prominence.

Surprisingly well said!
oh, yeah, I guess JC is announcing now, huh?

Bottom line is that our previous regime was horrible at finding talent and apparently put no stock in work ethic. I believe there are plenty of three and four star athletes out there to win championships if they have the right work ethic, football smarts, and the will to win. It doesn't take a squad full of 4 and 5 star players, they just have to be coachable and the right coaches have to be in place, which I think we have some really good ones.

well this was stupid.

i agree with you about work ethic being important. saying the last regime couldnt find talent is moronic at best. and a sqaud of 4/5* player sure has a better chance of winning in the SEC than a squad of predominatley 3* players.

Nick Reviez is very coachable. i love watching him. truthfully, though, he would never play let alone start at Bama, Florida, LSU, or Georgia. coachability is great. talent is better.

"I'm really excited about being a Vol," Coleman said.

"I really liked coach Joseph," Coleman said. "But coach Russell found me and he told all the other coaches about me and they started to like me more. I feel like coach Dooley is going to step up the program and get them back to where they were."

"I've been told that I have to learn the words to Rocky Top."

Fulmer and his band of goons couldn't find talent the last 5 years if it smacked them in the face. Oh and I didn't count kiffin and his squad because they didn't even make it a full year.
