Basilio was onto something. The rumor was everywhere last week behind the scenes. I'm just not completely sure the guy made it in. If I had to bet, I would say no. But Basilio was not making it up about the guy possibly visiting.

Apparently, he doesn't believe it now ... there is just no evidence that a mystery 5* came in and committed this past weekend.

You don't think I've spoken with JB on this subject?

I know for a fact Hubbs knows the rumor. There's just not many things pointing to the recruit showing up.

ftr I don't put stock into anything Basilio says either, but Basilio didn't start this. He just caught wind of it and decided to air it.

I never questioned if you had talked to JB, I'm just going off what I was told.

If the recruit never showed up then why did Basilio say he could confirm that he was here?

As far as ninja recruits go, at this point it is all a wait and see game. But as they say, where there is smoke....A gag order was probably placed on everyone that actually had any idea about it after Basilio went retard (per his usual self). If it isn't true, Oh well...our class is stacking up nicely as is. As far as Bellamy goes, I honestly think we have a real shot just because Clemson has been so inept on offense they couldn't even beat FSU, who went to the old school Nebraska option game to beat them. Their O staff is probably gonna get cleaned out. Just my :twocents:
