'11 FL RB Mike Bellamy

i don't see why everyone's like "drop devrin young WHEN we get bellamy"... i don't think he'll come to tennessee and I'd rather have a hometown kid play then another 5* TB... remember last time we got one of those

It won't happen. Asking young to leave that is. I hope we ge Mike.

Young is being recruited as a special teams player (return specialist) ... Bellamy as an offensive running back. Two different roles.
and with that being said, I think Young earns another role other that ST. IMO

This has to be sarcasm. Is this Fulmer taking the local kid over the impact player? Stop with the Young shenanigans. Also Brown left after a coach. Can't be mad with him it is what it is. He committed to a coach not the university.

When Devrin is taking them to the house on kickoffs, will be funny to see all these people eat crow.

Would be better if we could get Bellamy drop Young then add another player.

Exactly!
That's what I was going to say earlier in another thread but didn't wanna get flamed for it.

If we don't get Bellamy then sure I want to keep Young. If we get him though, I'd like to use DY's spot on a linebacker or for the line. We have too many holes to take 3 rbs in this class, and there is no way you turn down Bellamy if he wants to be a vol imo.

Devrin will not be playing RB at UT for more than 1-3 snaps a game if that. His role is to change us from a terrible ST return unit into a strength. We need someone to flip the field for us, and you guys crack me up acting as though it is not important. Guess what, Fulmer didn't think it was too important either and look at how many close games were altered by special teams. Special teams is an aspect just like offense is. Devrin will also be used as a guy that can line up in the slot and can be lined up in several different ways. Dooley wanted to improve STs and overall team speed, and he got both in Devrin. Suck it up, he's not going anywhere.

Jmoore, quick question... How many spots do we have right now? 7 right?

8 if you dont count Loften, & yes I know were are short on numbers & you would like to see us land Bigelow or Bellamy & tell Young to look elsewhere so we can have that space for another DT,OL,LB, or CB.

+1
lol it's so predictable what people will say or ask on this board.

Ok another question, do you think Bellamy could have a similar impact on ST's as Young?
