'11 FL RB Marlin Lane

depth.lane could ball

but miami has 3 guys who will get alot of pt..mike james, lamar miller and storm johnson

eduardo clements cant even see the field lol

Thats probably why most feel Lane is a Vol lean, I suppose..:hi:

Bakas from CanesTime must just have a feeling or something else most haven't heard..

if lane comes to miami he is redshirting unless he turns to frank gore overnight

maybe he gets pt in tennessee?

If he put the work in, then he would absolutely see some carries. We have a SR who is reliable, yet sometimes lacks the ability to break off big runs. Then we have 2 Soph. One who got rare PT last year and the other is coming off an ACL injury.

As for the comparisons with Foster, I just wish we could sign one with some breakaway speed. That was the one thing with Arian. He was a productive back, but you could never count on him to take it to the house once he found some daylight. He routinely would get caught from behind.

That's why I miss guys like Jamal Lewis and Coker. Give either of them a crease and they were gone.

Guys like AF and MH are what I refer to as blue collar RB's.

I with you (JL & LC) and will add Onterrio Smith---good size (6'0' 210lbs), made guys miss, great vision, and breakaway speed---to the list.

coral gables back ave 12.5 ypc. I know he's small but gore is the only other back from dade county that ave in double digits but he is small and for smoe reason only has a few offers

With the Canes coming hard, it may push this to a NSD decision. Think it was almost over and may still be, but its getting a little more interesting. We'll have to wait and see.GBO

He is rumored to be a silent from one of the most reputable posters on here, so I think you are incorrect. He might drag it out until NSD, but I think his decesion is already made up. JMO.
