Man dis gon b one of da hardest decision n my life......Pray for me!!!!!
Lane's status on FB. I told you guys we've got him thinking:loco:. As long as he follows through with his visit set up on the 28th, then im very confident in our chances in landing Lane on NSD. Dooley is working his magic folks, trust me.
Not trying to pick on you Breakerboy but every year posters here do the same thing. They see a hot young recruit and are just certain they will start from day ONE.
Go back and check out the debates around and after Bryce Brown's commitment. Many folks thought like you do about Lane... that he would just ride in on his 5* rating and be annointed #1. Some of us argued that Hardesty was going to be the best back... and were attacked for it. As you know, MH won the job and it wasn't even close. HS to CFB is a HUGE step up for all of these guys regardless of their Rivals ranking or HS accomplishments.
IMHO, BB was somewhat overrated. If Lane is the guy, I would not be surprised if he had a better Fr year than BB.
You guys are all underestimating a college coach's ability to bull****...which is exactly what Dabo is going to do to keep Lane
rivals"They(Clemson coaches) told me the new offensive coordinator is going to be hired by Sunday."
"I want to see for myself and get a feel for the new coordinator," he said. "I'm going to be doing that on the visit when me and Cortez go up on the 14th. They told me it'll be an attacking-style of offense."
"I'm not planning on visiting Tennessee, but they did tell me they want me to come in and start right away because they've been struggling at running back. That all sounds good, but."
Asked to update the status of his verbal commitment to the Tigers, Lane replied, "You can keep it the same … it's 100-percent."
