Didn't he say in that article he is announcing in November. I'm assuming it's next but I'm not sure if we confirmed it.

Some people think that Miami Northwestern's quarterbacks are just great athletes, not pure quarterbacks. Jacory is proving that wrong. With that being said, I do not think it is fair to compare the two. And saying Teddy will be way better than Jacory now is kind of crazy. That being said, your the man Matt lol.

O okay. That makes sense now. If you think about it, most HS teams in the south (the nation for that matter) put their best ATH as QB. I mean, the QB has the ball in his hands everyplay, and you want the ball in your best play makers hands the most you can get it. It makes alot of sense. It is also why it is also hard to find a great QB from the south, most teams have the best ATH there. MOST, not all.

and thanks....

It especially would make sense in the Miami area.

Why is your stock on TB going up because of Harris? Two different players. BTW, TB will be way better then Harris.

seeing the more athletic guy in a pro style offense such as jacory harris....FYI Harris was a beast for the national champion high school team so to say WAY better is stretching it and not given much credit to Harris.

Bridgewater talks offers, Alabama.
"I've got offers now from Florida, Miami, Tennessee, LSU, Rutgers and Florida International," Bridgewater said. "I'm not really concerned about my offers at this point. I don't want to make any decisions based on who has offered me now because I think there will be some more coming."

"I'm hearing a lot from Notre Dame, Indiana, Florida State and Alabama too. Alabama is one that I'm really excited about. I like what I've seen of them this year. They play a lot of young guys at pretty much every position and their quarterback is playing really good right now. That defense is one of the best I've ever seen."

"I made a decision a while ago that I would make my commitment on my birthday during my senior year, which is November 10. Right now, that's the plan so hopefully I can take some visits during the summer and know enough to make my decision by then."

VolQuest.com - Phillips announced as an Army All-American

NO way Teddy ends up in Bama. If he thinks he will get early pt as a QB at Bama, he must be superman 2. One would think Miami would be the ideal school for Teddy. I just hope he lets UT have a shot. I like Lemay more anyway.

Yeah I am confused about the TB thing to. Don't take me wrong but this kid might not see the field for a while at UA. Maybe he thinks he can, but I believe that P Simms will be redshirted next year, so TB maybe by his junior year. AJ McCarron one of the top QBs for the 2009class is probably going to get RS this year unless GMac gets hurt. So when GMac graduates AM will be a RS Soph and PS will be a RS Fresh, the same year TB would come in. I guess kids look at USC and think it could happen anywhere.

I do hope we can land him, just not sure our depth chart will help.

We don't need to be starting this "like someone more" routine when it comes to Bridgewater, Lemay, Worley, etc. just because they comment on offers or aren't gushing over us in interviews. We should simply be begging and pleading any of the three to come to UT.

I think in the end he goes to Miami. Northwestern is a Cane Pipeline. Harris came from Northwestern. I expect Bridgewater to end up there as well.

I think we end up with Worley....

i gotta agree with you. everytime i see someone say 'i'd rather have X than Y anyways' i roll my eyes.

Teddy Bridgewater and the Miami Northwestern team play tonight on ESPN2. Bridgewater is the guy I REALLY want come 2011. We can get Bray in here next year, and hopefully he wins the starting job. Bridgewater comes in the next year, redshirts, learns from Bray the next year or two and then he'll be ready to go when Bray leaves. Of course, this is all my wishful thinking.

Also Jose Jose is playin. but your theory is solid.
Rivers is the guy i would want the most.

You know LV, I cant seem to understand why so many highly touted players like to flirt with schools that are loaded at that position. USC at every position, UF at LB and DB, LSU at dline, Bama at oline, MICH at QB, etc. Scroggins at USC is silly; Gardener heading to mICH where Robinson and Forcier are holding it down, seems UT would be attractive to play at for a QB!

Bridgewater is the man...watched him play tonight and announcers did noy mention us as being on his list, however I am hearing we are in his top five, and that he told the Miami Herald that He wanted to leave the stae of Florida and play in a pro style offense.....any thoughts

Bridgewater has said we are his #2 behind UGA. But everyone assumes that he is lying and that Miami is his real #1...

This guy is freaking amazing compared to the talent we have now. He is smart and very athletic. Reminds me of J. Harris from the U of Miami. Throws the deep ball well, doesn't throw into traffic. I hope we get this kid he looks good.

ps move to recruiting forum for some reason my recruiting forum will not load up.

He was 10/22 against high school competition right? I only caught the end of the game, so I didn't get to see him play. That stat is not impressive though

I only caught the second half of the game. He looked farily good, but nothing specatular. They only had 2 points at half time, so i'm assuming he didn't do al that well first half.
