'11 FL QB Jacoby Brissett

Moving right along...

Congrats MC on Gray Crow! Nice (commit) p/u!

^^THIS^^ + To go along w/ Nate Forcier. :good!: :)

yea he is a project tho...but pretty nice pick up

^^THIS^^ You jest Sir! :loco: Would you rather have his brother (UCF)?? :eek:lol: jk.
Seriously, while at ND Weiss was looking at both Crow and Brissett. Good luck.

I didn't see any threads on him yet.

Would you take him? He got beat out by Driskel but he was the 3rd rated QB and 75th overall player by rivals in 2011

What would we do with him? We have 2qbs that are better than him and Riley Ferguson is probably better.

Wouldn't hurt to give the kid a shot. I would be all for it actually, we may need all the help we can get...

He has proven just as much as Worley and more than Peterson or Ferguson.

I honestly believe he was thrown in too early like Worley.

@patrickbrownTFP: Tennessee called transferring Florida QB Jacoby Brissett, his high school coach told @DuseReport760 of @ESPN760. http://t.co/euvnIcQE

In an interesting twist, Florida's SEC East rival Tennessee is making a push for Brissett. Daniels said UT called him after the transfer to inquire about the QB.

Tennessee was not on Brissett's initial list of schools given to Florida, but Daniels said he plans on calling Muschamp to add it to the group.

Despite the fact the Volunteers are an SEC rival and play the Gators every season, Muschamp previously told Daniels that he would give grant Brissett's release to any school in the country.

Of course we should take him. Ha how can you say we have 2 qbs better than him and Ferguson is "probably" better?? Take all the talent we can get.

he did it with mike blakely

pretty awesome move by muschamp to not give a f where they go lol

I think that is how it should be. If a coach thinks the player is good enough to hurt them playing for another team, maybe they should be playing and not looking to transfer. If your going to let them go, let them go anywhere.

Classy move by Will Muschamp IMO.

I.. don't think he would start here. I think Worley is as good as Driskel, this kid is worse than Driskel, and I think Peterman is better than the lot.

JMHO.

Then again, if we are calling for him, our coaches might not be so sure.

Take him on, let him compete for the job, and if he doesn't outplay any of the current qbs on our roster then he will be in the same situation he is in at FL, but if he does then he deserves to start. It can't hurt to have more people trying out, it just allows for a larger pool to select the best player to get the start from.

You are way overrating Worley and Peterman. Peterman hasn't played a snap and Worley hasn't played a productive one. Driskel just took his team to 11-2. Granted, he was carried by his defense a lot of the time, but he made plays when they had to be made. To say Worley and Peterman are better than him ATP is absurd.

Have to disagree. Not worth a scholly when we have so many other needs at this time. Pass on him, get a GREAT QB in '14 IMHO.

We have the winner.

The only thing Driskel has on Worley is his wheels.

You're overrating Driskel if you think a second year Worley couldn't have had similar success than the second year Driskel.

Driskel played as a freshman too, like Worley. He was just as... mediocre, on a better team.
