If he is a silent...what's the purpose? Why would the staff want him to remain quiet about his commitment? Seems like making his commitment known right now would only "put on more steam" for us.

Could be for a number of reasons.

1. He is currently committed to another school. It would be respectful for him to inform Miami before changing his commitment to another school.

2. Dooley may have asked him to go home and make sure this is the decision he wants to make. Not trying to talk him out of it, but Dooley seems to want kids to make sure it is a final decision before they commit to UT. Kid got excited during his visit and may have wanted to commit in the excitement, and I'm sure our coaching staff loved that, but they want him to talk to his family and make sure this is what he wants.

ehh it is what it is..the kid goes where he is happy

and right now miami doesnt have the coaches to develop the players..i dont blame him to be honest,this coaching staff have severly underachived with what they have.

dooley would have won the ACC with this miami team

shannon seat is on fire..which is why recuits are wavering..he has shalala confidence(she has the last word) but the ad and alumni are tired of miami not winning the weak ACC..yes he has graduated players and yes he has cleaned up the program..but its time to win.They will give him one more year if he finish strong...IF..he will fire some assistants(if he was smart he would just keep the OC and d-line coach)


my dream coach would be harbaugh from stanford but that is not happening..they could afford patterson from TCU,his defenses are always strong and can you imagine what he could do with this defense down here...

I did not realize he is an EE...that makes things a bit more urgent with this guy if we want to reel him in...
