Oh I'm not saying he won't... just trying to think how he would unless Richardson will either 1. Not qualify or 2. Move to DT. Also, I thought both Kerbyson and Posey were projected here as guards.
According to LWS who is seldom wrong, it might be this.

Asked if he's a soft commitment, Jackson says "I'm not sure."

Asked if he's a strong Miami commitment, he says, "I guess so," adding "I'm still committed."

And Jackson has an official visit set up to Tennessee for this weekend.

If he has a great visit would that make a tough decision for him?

"I don't know," Jackson said. "You'll have to call after the visit. It all depends."

Of why he's visiting Tennessee, Jackson said, "I wanted to see what they had to offer, just go there and check out the campus and everything."

FlVol77 seems confident that he could commit if he visits. Jackson apparently doesn't like what's going on in Miami at all.

Yeah I looked at his profile after I posted that. I was thinking he was a 4 star.

That doesn't have anything to do with it. Marcus Jackson has the ability to be a dominant guard just like Richardson has the ability to be a dominant tackle.

"I heard about the environment they have up there at Tennessee and just want to check it out and see what it has to offer. It seems like a great place from watching it on TV and it has a great fan base. I just want to go check it out first hand and see what it's about," Jackson said.

"I'm going to be evaluating everything, going over everything. If everything checks off it will probably be a good deal," Jackson added.

"I'm going to think it out and not make a very quick decision It's not going to be a rash decision based on an official visit," Jackson added.

I think Derek Dooley said that were going to get 5 O-Lineman and 5 D-Lineman. If we get him and A.R. that would put us at 5 at the offensive line.

kid is a take for most program...UF would take a commit from him today or NSD. If you guys can pull him you better make room. Many people believe he has the size and talent to play in Sundays.

this guy is one of the top guards in florida..a very good runblocker..

if dooley steals him from miami, thats a very good pickup..better then posey

alot of ppl say he will stick and he is a die hard cane..but through his interviews,it sounds like he is lukewarm

i dont blame him..who wants to play for shannon and a staff that cant develop..but if anything..watch out for urban :)

:) We trying but he won't make the switch. Urban has taken over the recruiting of Jackson,Prestwood,Lynch and Lyons.

Also said this,

"I'm not going to waste a college's time to take a visit and have fun. If I take a visit I'm going to be serious about coming there." Jackson said.

We have a legit shot at this one.

Solid. I'd love to have him paired with Newberry. That would be a sweet package deal.
