Was watching ESPNU Under Armor practice when they displayed a list of decommits from Miami and they discussed which if any would recommit and the consensus was that none would go back to Miami.By the way Jackson was on that list.tifwiw.

let me break down the decommit deal since espn wont..

eli rogers-gone no doubt...

teddy-i think golden is looking for a pro style (love teddy tho)

marcus-at least he is still considering miami...i dont blame him for decommiting

chase harper- lol this is funny he commited like 4 days ago but his grades didnt meet the requirements..he was a commit for one day

louis jean-this is the guy i wished came back..but really wanted to play for randy..antrel rolle type

marcus is the only one that has a chance to come back

Jackson has filed his papers to Miami & Tennessee & has been accepted to both schools. He has already informed a staff member of one of the schools of his decision. Of course will announce on Wed. He will enroll into that school on Saturday.

The battle for him between us and Miami has been extremely close. His mom supposedly wants him here. He supposedly prefers Miami because it's been his dream school since he was a kid.

Jackson is a pretty nimble kid for as big as he is. His body will need some reshaping at his next stop but not nearly as much as you may think when just looking at him. He does a real good job of not opening himself up to be gashed when the defender gets first strike.

As for his commitment, I think he opts for Miami, but he wasn't giving much away when I spoke with him today.

My thing is, why make such a big deal out of your announcement if you are going to REcommitt to the canes? Why wait and play the game again?

If you're talking about players - doubt he's actually going to defriend players he made friendships with just because he chose another school. Players stay friends with guys through college they either took visits with or met on visits unless there's some big rivalry.. which UM and UT don't have.

Because he was probably going to announce for UT initially - might still be the case - but had already scheduled the commitment date.
