I've said this from the beginning. He has that connection to younger guys that a good recruiter needs. He just needs to sharpen his skills a little and he will be there

If yoy dont think that the last school with a on-campus visit right before signing has a good solid shot, then you havent followed recruiting much.
Our dline coach is the same guy who the best passrushers in the NFL paid out their own pocket to come teach them and make them better. This AFTER becoming a legend at tenn and a very productive career in the NFL.

We have an open starting position just waiting for a dt in this class. There is virtually nobody that could compete with tallented freashman for the position we are so thin.

Now that you actually have a few facts, if you still think tenn doesnt have a chance, then you really are as dim as i suspected you might be after your post.

Great info in this thread since my last post at 6:00 yesterday! I want this kid bad. To pull a top DT right out of Florida would be huge for CDD and staff.

Get him to Knoxville!

If true and certified by the all seeing and plane tracking sleuths of volnation this will be big. Course it's what we needed since we sent the entire cavalry to visit.

I've confirmed with people in Florida that Timmy Jernigan has turned down a trip to Florida and will visit Tennessee this weekend. He is bringing family with him and will be flying out around 4:30 tomorrow. Credit goes to Chuck Smith who has worked not only Timmy but the family. Hope u guys enjoyed the headline!

It's been confirmed that Jernigan has turned down a trip to Uf and will instead be visiting Tenn this weekend.

MAN this is great news! The IN HOME must have gone great. I love that CDD is going strong after these top recruits this late. If CDD can close with a strong finish including landing TJ, I don't think they'll be any argument as to whether this staff "can or can't recruit"

Austin Price has already confirmed he'll be here this weekend with his family, while also turning down a Uf visit.

He was NEVER going to take an OV to UF...said he would visited campus over the weekend or begining of the week. He turned down an OV to a campus he's been on 20+ times.
