'11 FL DT Timmy Jernigan (FSU)

Lakeland, Fla., defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan told John Brice in San Antonio that he was visiting Knoxville this weekend, but he has elected to not visit. All signs point to that being a FSU/LSU battle.

o well. next yr our DT Class will be SICK!
:good!:

Timmy's from Lake City, not Lakeland tho. gets under my skin when ppl who get paid to write these articles have the wrong info

Yea probably a good sign hes going to LSU. Miles signing an extension, he may have only been giving us a look in case Miles left.

Couch, Saulsberry and Carson will be sick?

I'm starting to think that some of you people are impossible to please. Even if Dooley hauls in a top 10 class, there will be people saying, "Oh well, maybe next year..."

Winning cures everything... Even then there will be some that aren't happy with things...

Even though it is still a long shot, it is great news that TJernigan wants to reschedule his visit to Tennessee. He really likes Coach Chuck Smith and at least wants to give us a visit, hopefully this time with his parents.

Somebody here just said that our 2012 D-Line class would "be sick", but if we could end up signing Timmy Jernigan, Gabe Wright, Maurice Couch, and Carson, Williams, and Saulsberry, this 2011 D-Line class will be beyond our wildest dreams of only a few weeks ago. Actually that is still true even if we don't land Jernigan but do land the rest -- a very realistic goal at this point.

Go get 'em Chuck Smith!!! For a "1st year in the business coach", he is turning out to be a huge factor in giving us a shot at a great class this year.
