'11 FL DT Timmy Jernigan (FSU)

Supposedly has FSU and LSU as his co-leaders. This would be a huge blow to UF. Not sure if I buy it.

Don't,just talking. After his Mich visit they were second..it just depends on who's he's doing the interview with...think Chris Dunkley but IMHO many of these guys are watching what happens over the next 5 games.

Shows how far the gators have fallen. FSU is going to get Wilder, Steward, and probably Jernigan, not to mention Christian Jones and Jeff Luc last year. There D will be very good in years to come

It sucks to lose these guys but we were NEVER in it for Steward. We were in the lead for Wilder forever, til Gran got ahold of him but since he is insisting on playing RB I would rather have Blakely. Jernigan may hurt the most since he grew up a Gator fan and we have been in the lead for what seems like forever, but hopefully we get back in it or land Todd Barr.

FSU has been landing good, extremely highly rated defensive players for years and has done nothing with them i.e. Nigel Bradham, Kendall Smith, Greg Reid (as a CB)

Reid is doing what a three star recruit did at UF for 4 years... Returning kicks.

Other than that, he's not a good DB against good competition.

Maybe canes have lower standards but Greg Reid is one of the worst CB's in the ACC. He can't cover anyone and is a horrible tackler. He's great on special teams but we found a 2 star to do that for 4 yrs.

Bradham hasn't done anything to live up to his 5 star all world ability. He's a decent player but I don't see him starting on many good SEC teams.

:no: we contacted him because he is one of the top DT's in the nation. You dont stop recruiting DT's no matter who is commited or you feel good about. You can neve have to many DT's, evidence with our roster now.

Jernigan is someone you would take along with Wright.

whether they felt good about him or not.

he is someone you would have to pursue when the school he has been leaning to all along loses its coach.

Yes we would. We could probably keep Saulsberry at DE or we might drop Carson if his weight is an issue.

Hell to the yes. We would take Johnson too if he wanted to commit. Wright, Jernigan, Couch, and Johnson are all players you cannot turn away.
