If we dont get him, I hope he goes anywhere but UF. I wonder how long it will take USC to offer since he was being recruited by the old staff?

Dooley has a whole year on him so don't count him out. Creyer may not be at UF by then.

Not sure why but I like this JERNIGAN kid, would be a great jersey for me. He better not be a Gator either or I'll be sick.

Since DL is the biggest need next year how many DL guys do you people think we'll sign?

yes, I was going to start his thread earlier. he needs to be our #1 target. Florida just landed two 5 star DTs in this class. We need to sell him on early playing time, because he's got a great opportunity here

Florida does graduate 3 senior true DTs and another 2 more situational DTs next season. McCarney rotates those guys heavily so there will be playing time available. Obviously not as much at Tennessee but it's there though I've noticed DTs tend to recognize that theirs is probably the hardest position to transition to the collegiate level and generally don't place as high an emphasis on instant playing time.

That being said Jernigan is a Florida fan whose already saying that if he chose today that he'd be a Gator and is also likely our #1 target. Tennessee's not even in his top 5 so you guys have a lot of ground to make up.

Thats no surprise. Man do I loath the Gators but they got it going on. I just wish Tennessee had a talent pool to cherry pick from like FSU,UF, and Miami.

top 5? one year out? whatever, but for what it's worth his list, according to ESPN, is FSU, UF, Tennessee, Michigan, and S Florida

I was asking around about him and he quit on his football team last yr after getting into it with his Head coach.
He asked to be let back on the team and was let back on after a small amount of time.
Hope thats just a small bump and not an indicator of bigger issues.

Listed at 6'2", 270 lbs.

Appears that FSU will be the team to beat, he had two cousins who attended FSU.
