but, while he was on a bye week this past week he was able to take in tennessee's first sec win against ole miss adding that a certain freshman quarterback has impressed him in his first two starts.

"i got watch that was great," williams said. "i think they made the great move of putting tyler bray he's impressed me."

bray isn't the only freshman playing big minutes for the vols and the amount of youth has been a positive sign for williams.

"they keep saying that they keep showing highlights and they how the young guys are involved. It's nice," williams said.

Williams said a few schools have stayed in contact with him but that he's only going to take a visit to tennessee and that he's firm to the vols.

Why the pass by Meyer here? I really don't see how he missed this guy in his own backyard.

My guess is alot of depth in that position due to last years signing class at Florida.
In 2010 Florida signed Sharrif Floyd #1 DT, Dominique Easley #2 DT, and Leon Orr #28 DT.

Meyer only has an eye for 4/5* talent...Strong and Heater always found the underrated guys....one of the reasons for our struggles is because of him not taking underrated state talent. He goes to the NE for those type. Strong was on Paul and JW last season but Meyer dragged his feet about recruiting them. I would be shocked if we land another player from GHS after the Kevin Nelson issue, plus Ryan Smith(HC) doesn't care for Meyer that much...loved Charlie Strong but Meyer not so much.

Sounds like Meyer will be Fulmer 2.0. He'll win but he won't win championships anymore. He's recruiting stars instead of talent now. Who are going to be your big time WRs in the future HG (just curious)?
