Not so sure. Jadeveon Clowney is a beast. Have you watched his video?

Maybe they are trying not to make the mistake of realizing Ronald Powell was the #1 player until February after he dominated the all-star game...again.

Clowney would be my 2 spot. Will probably have a better football career than Wilder though.

Actually J Allen is being rectuied as a athlete and will probably end up at DB, but my understanding the offer to him is conditional based on how well he recovered from his injury. If not I think he would have already commited because he has always liked UA. D Hart going to UM so who cares, but if he did come to UA he would be a slot WR just like C Grant is going to be. J Wilder Jr is being recruited as a RB but will end up as a LB. Plus when he cam e to TTown he only worked out with the LBs the whole Nike Camp.

Is he even interested in UT? He seems like a kid that puts in his work off the field. I really, honestly think that if Dooley and some other coaches went to visit him in person, we could make a lasting impression.

TW, U really believe Buck is gonna be anything other than a RB? He had an interview and kinda winked & smirked when asked position and he said Slot wr if he has to (LOL)

and He's back from his injury, there are hilights up from his spring game, gop check em out.

I have seen the video. Actully I was saying D Hart would end up as a slot WR, but I do not see him going anywhere other than UM. B Allen might play some RB but he is being recruited by UA as an athlete and if RB is all he wants to play than I guess he will not come to UA. Wilder you just recruit and let him play where he wants. He is that good.

Five-star James Wilder II to decide before start of senior season

Premier athlete James Wilder II (Tampa, Fla./Plant Senior) revealed a timetable for his decision for ESPN affiliate Web site GatorCountry.com.

"I'm going to make a decision by the end of the summer and focus on the season," said Wilder. "It's a lot of pressure and I don't want to keep having to think about [recruiting]."

GatorCountry also reports that Wilder is currently focused on a short list of schools that includes Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Miami-FL, South Carolina, Tennessee and USC.

"I've seen the schools I like quite a bit," he noted. "But Coach (Weiner) and I want to see the schools I like this summer. I want to visit them all, compare them, and start eliminating them. By the end of the summer, I'll make my choice."

Wilder is rated as the nation's No. 1 athlete and No. 8 overall prospect.

I know this has nothing to do with Wilder, but this thread sounds eerily like the way the Jeff Luc thread started last year.

We watched his video and were in awe. He never mentioned UT at all and everybody said he was a pipe dream and we had no chance then... he randomly shows up at UTs summer camp and we all know the drama that ensued after that.

That being said, I do not think we have a shot at all with Wilder, but I'm still gonna hope.

Hell IMO he's a pipe dream for the Gators...Saban has sold this kid the dream of playing RB. Even if that doesn't pan out...you can beat his winning record while putting great D players in the league...BAMA.
