LV, I'm noticing that we are the "best" school on a lot of these kid's offer lists. Are we just ahead of the game, settling, or a mixture of both? I don't know if I should be impressed or nervous that some of the kid's we are offering don't hold many other offers from elite schools - especially since I pay more attention to a player's offer list than I do star rankings.

If Kiffin offered a kid with few offers last year, everybody praised him. Not saying you were one of them, because I don't know, just sayin.

there were a lot of kids where UT was the first "big time" school to offer...and everyone on here praised Ogre for being able to find the talent before anyone else... Im starting to not like a lot of my fellow fans...lol

Weren't we one of the first big schools to offer Matt Milton?(I know it was last year's staff) I don't really worry about this staff's ability to evaluate talent. Da'Rick Rogers should be a good reference on any coach's resume'.

see the kid play and he is a stud on both sides of the ball. Moving up Gators board, many think he's going to leave the state. Reminds many of Paterick Robinson coming out of HS.

Just yesterday the cashier at the liquor store told me she felt sorry for me because I'm from Tennessee. Although it wasn't anti-Vol sentiment so much as her being born and raised in Boston and not wanting to get out of the city.

Right now Ahmad is keeping an open mind and doesnt have a favorite

Ahmad is also a Baseball star and he is on MLBs radar

"Tennessee would like me to play both if I can. If I go to college, I would like to play both sports."

So im guessing that either means us or the majors. I like our chances in that sitiuation. Im just afraid Florida is gonna slip in the mix sometime.

"I had gotten a lot of mail from them and stuff, but I really didn't think they were going to recruit me all that hard," Christian said when asked about Tennessee. "But coach Thompson was through here last week in my coach's office talking with him, and that let me know that they're serious."

"I still plan on looking around at some schools and I don't have a list of favorites, but I'm liking Tennessee a lot right now, a whole lot," Christian said of his level of interest in the Vols. "That's a great program that I grew up watching on TV all the time. If they're going to be serious about me I'm definitely serious about them."

UT is probably the biggest school to offer him so far. Hopefully he will keep that in mind if other SEC schools like Florida and Auburn offer.

Sounds like we are in great shape with Christian. UT needs to stay on this one. Not to mention, but the baseball program could use some help anyways.
