Has anyone mentions how #11 said he was the only LB watching video and he needed to bring more teammates with him going forward? I’m not sure how he meant, it sounded to me like much of the team wasn’t spending the time necessary to get better in the film room.

How did you take this comment?

If true, this won't get fixed anytime soon.

I think it’s pretty telling honestly. It shows that there are players who don’t really care for mak Ng themselves better. Pruitt seemed to elude to this during the press conference.

If Pruitt said that and they are still on the field then he is the problem. We just lost to Kentucky at home for the first time in 36 years. We need coaches that care and want to get better also. From the looks of our lack of adjustments they need to be watching films to. And play the players that want to be there. Seems to me both the coaches and players are obsessed with their Stars. We need football players and football coaches. Tired of reading this board about Tenn having more talent than Kentucky. The score didn’t show it. Tired of hearing that JP will get it done. Georgia State and Kentucky at home says otherwise. What I see is a staff in it for the big money and the players playing for the name on the back instead of the T on the helmet. The only passion in the program is the Fans and it’s going away fast.

Wake up. Practice time is very limited to begin with. Add the virus that completely stopped practice altogether. Add to that CJP is just getting his entire 2nd full recruiting class to school and then there was at least two occasions where there were over 40 players out for 14 day stretches for "contact tracing". Some of those players had to go through the process twice.

I actually studied USCjr's practices and they were way ahead of us as far as scrimmages, full contact etc....I really expected them to lay it on us. Look at LSU who hired Bo Pellini to replace Aranda at DC.....look at UF's current status and their defense so far this year under Grantham that is usually highly ranked. This virus is impacting teams in different ways and some are more fortunate than others and that's just the way it is. Fulmer hired a good football coach but this bi-polar, fair-weather fanbase, expects a miracle worker to go undefeated and win the national championship with a freshman QB who's probably practiced a total of 20 days since he enrolled in January.

Lastly, think of a recruit of our current 7th ranked class who may read the posts on this board and all the negativity. Is this the way true fans show their support?

True fans are allowed to critique the coaching staff, especially after a debacle like this. If the emperor is naked, it is crazy to say that you like his clothes IMO.

Nobody expected to win a national championship with a freshman qb. Most fans I know did expect to beat Kentucky, or at the very least not get absolutely embarrassed

If this is postgame, that is not what he said. He said on a wednesday at 1 am Henry T was still watching tape and other players need same level of dedication. Very different that misquoting him to sat #11 was the only one watching tape !! Lol

Pruitt made a comment that he was leaving the office at 1am last week and saw lights on. When he went to check, it was To'o To'o sitting in the linebacker room studying Kentucky film, putting in the work...at 1am. THAT was the comment.

THIS seems a little different than the OP. Or is it just me?

I didn't hear HT say it, but Pruitt mentioned he was leaving the office one day this week at 1am, and he noticed someone in the film room and it was HT. Don't know if I'd expect everyone to be in the film room at 1am, but certainly shows HT's commitment.

Agree completely

I'm not here defending or attacking Pruitt (other than him needing to mail JG back to Jersey using parcel class) but there is a reason this season "doesn't count".
NCAA is a joke yes but thwy got this right.
The fan demand is the only reason they're having games at all
These fans need to be thankful even if it is not good watching TN at the moment.
How much would thwy be bitching if football wasn't being played at all?

Good post that most overlook trying to be the loudest hater

Fan demand wasn’t the only reason. Money is the driving force here.

HT is still on Pacific Standard Time. It was only 10pm to him.

Our recruiting class is very Butch Jones like so far. Need to trim some of the fat anyway and start adding guys that are SEC level players. We don't have enough....as if that isn't obvious already.

16-17 year olds aren’t reading these boards. In fact if it’s not on twitter or tiktok and less than 20 seconds long, they’re not reading it at all.
