'11 CA RB Brendan Bigelow

I left Huff out of my previous post because Oregon does not consider him an RB, but seeing as how he was filling in when Barner was out injured I probably should have...

Oregon has a loaded depth chart at RB and the hybrid TZR position for sure:

LMJ
Barner
Huff
Alston
Seastrunk (RS)
Williams (RS)

Alston will be gone next year and none of the remaining guys will be Sr's. Also factoring in as slotback types could be incoming Tacoi Sumler and rumored commit Devon Blackmon. Chip is amassing quite an arsenal.

He'd fit right in at Oregon or here. I want him here. He wouldn't even have to share as many carries. And he'd be our No.1 RB as soon as he's healthy.

I have wondered for awhile if they would be a factor with him. He may want to go there, but it just may depend on how hard they pursue him. With their depth and current recruits they may not want to pursue him due to his injuries.

If you are referring to Oregon...
Even with the injuries the kid is clearly the RB Chip Kelly most covets. He is all in.

Tennessee coaches are headed west this week per jhop's twitter. Jhop thinks he might visit bigelow/moore.

Just watched some film on this kid and he definitely looks like a Reggie Bush type back. Would be nice to pick him up.

lol @ "Blew me away" making someone sound like they are from California. It actually makes him sound like he's from the United States in the 21st Century.

1. That's a fairly common expression you'd hear from plenty of kids in the South.

2. Assuming he can recover from injury, he'd quite possibly be the best player in our class if he committed.

1. Sorry, I guess I'm way behind the times. "Blew me away" originated in Cali.

2. True, but he'll stay on the Left Coast. Oregon, for one, has him salivating.

Visited Oregon this past weekend.

"It was good, I loved it," said Bigelow. "When I got there it started raining but I was prepared and it wasn't super cold. Other than that, the trip was great."

Despite a plethora of running backs, Bigelow said a crowded depth chart doesn't bother him.

"I would like to learn from them," said Bigelow. "I'm a competitor so of course I'd love to play right away. But in the meantime, I do respect the person who's alredy been there. They could teach me how to run. It would be no problem to wait."

Will take an official to Cal at some point.
