Georgia has been a longtime favorite and many feel the Bulldogs are the team to beat

Washington's parents are from the Los Angeles area, so expect USC to be a player.

I just dont see this guy being an elite prospect like some have been saying.
At camp he looked overwhelmed and just didn't show much intensity or fire like many of the other guys did. I had huge expectations for him and he was one of the biggest disappointments at the entire camp.

He does not have to even practice at TCA. The level of comprtition is awful in class A in that area. they do play USJ (2A) but that is it! I know his coach and hesays he is a gamer.

Haha, now this is a recruit from my neck of the woods. My high school team used to play TCA all the time. In fact last year when they beat my old high school in double overtime (I had already graduated) it was a great play by Jabriel. That was the first time they ever beat my alma mater. He actually played a little as a freshman due to the starter being injured. I sacked him several times, but I chalked that up to an awful line. He's improved a great deal from then. But I have major concerns about the strength of the region they have played in. Single A football in West Tennessee is pretty weak competition overall.

It wasn't much better on the East side when I was in HS. My junior year, we beat our 4 region opponents by a combined score of 226-0.

You didn't happen to go to Trousdale Co. High school did you? They've always steamrolled 1A whenever they get reclassified into that division. They are region 4 aren't they?

You're in the wrong part of the state. I went to Boyd-Buchanan in Chattanooga. I think you misread the last part of my post...I said we had 4 region opponents, not that we were in Region 4. I think the Chatt. area 1A region is Region 3, but we are 2A now so I don't remember for sure.

 Wow... that's a very small region. I've actually got a friend that went to Boyd-Buchanan. But yeah... 1A in Tennessee is very weak. That's why I have concerns that Jabriel wouldn't cut it in the SEC.

Good kid and a good player....but plays in a weak region and Division. By far the best player on the field each week...but no real competition.

Coming to knoxville this weekend for a 2nd straight week unofficially

I like the sound of this. The drive from Memphis to Athens is only about an hour and a half more than the drive from Memphis to Knoxville.

While I think he is a tad overrated, I would be more than happy if he were to commit, and I do think we have a good chance ATM.
