What kills me is for the SECCG I was sober as a Judge, had no alcohol that day or the night before and I was screaming SO LOUD that a couple of times I was placing my hand behind my head while screaming because it felt like the back of my head was going to Blow OFF.

How the HELL can I do this the Day after a Night of Celebrating?

I had a traffic court judge that was not sober, but it all worked out because he over-ruled all tickets and only made people pay the $20 court costs.

And you deal with it by being careful not to overdose on Tylenol, that's how.

I had several beers and a good buzz going and when LSU took the field, I started booing at the top of my lungs. After several different times of booing and cheering, I developed the worst headache that I have ever encountered. Fans that were sitting around me kept asking me why I was sitting down and holding my hands against my temples. I went and found some ibuproferin at the first aid site and it didn't take hold until the end of the game. I missed Berry's interception and his fumble recovery while out looking for headache medicine. This also happened to me at the 2002 game against Florida in the rainstorm. I think I need to stop drinking so much before the games.

I absolutely cannot stand this game only because of the absurd kickoff time. We went down to last year's debacle and it just didnt feel like a college football game. I know that someone has to start this early to get all of the games on TV but...11 am, at that time of the day the ole beer hand has a cup of coffee in it.

Does anyone think this effects the players?

yeah ow, I gotto work New Years day until 1500 so I will miss the whole game, talk about suckey, I will be looking on line.

I live out west, it starts at 9 a.m. I just plan on staying up all night if I can because I own a bar that won't even close down until 3 a.m. Haven't stayed up all night in a long time though, we'll see.

stop drinking by 1am, be in bed by 2am, asleep by 3am, get out of bed by 1000am and you'll be fine with no hangover to deal with.

The 11:00 time def. sucks. Last year I woke up half drunk in a hotel bed in Wilmington, NC and tried to watch the game. I fell back asleep by halftime, from what I heard and the 3 am ESPN replay I didn't miss much.

I was at last years Outback Bowl and the time and rain sucked. But, compared to Bama (Shreveport by the beach) it ain't so bad.

I think Will Overstreet made a comment this year, that UT hasn't played well in early games.

Yes he did. Probably the weakest excuse for a team's performance I have ever heard. As someone mentioned earlier, BOTH TEAMS have to deal with it. It's not like Tennessee has to take the field at 11:00 a.m. and Wisky can just roll in at 1:00 p.m.:ermm:

I've been doing this for years. Works for me every time on New Year's.

2:00 AM In bed
9:30 AM Out of bed -shot of Canadian club with water chaser. Then breakfast of coffee, 2 Winstons, and a vitamin b12 capsule.
10:00 AM Double shot of Canadian Club straight up with water chaser.
10:30 AM Wheels turning again. Ready for some boiler-makers and football.

Last year, we went out in Tampa but got to bed by 2-3 and were up at a decent time. Had a beer in hand by 9:00-9:30. Worked well for us, except outcome of game. We may try a repeat performance this year -- but hope the Vols don't have a repeat performance.

I kind of like the 11am kickoff. I can roll out of bed, get a cup of coffee, turn the TV on and watch the game without having to wait around all day.

See for me, I kind of like the waiting around part. But Playing on New Years day is never a bad thing.
