Now he says he's still solid to Bama but taking officials elsewhere? The little tyrant will not like that.

Hubbs has an article up about this kid on Volquest. I didn't realize that he had three cousins already on the Tide roster. Kendall Kelly, Jerrell Harris, and Dre Kirkpatrick are related to him. I would say the odds of him going anywhere but Alabama are slim and none.

No shot and if he wanted an OV I would question that as well due to the fact you only have so many OV's to provide. Especially if it was in the fall just to see a game.

fwiw if he is looking around he is not going to say it in an article.

if he starts taking official visits, then he is looking around regardless of what he says.

Yeah, I don't think I would exhaust a lot of energy recruiting this kid, but that's just me.

I'm still sticking w/ my comments made in July that Collins is the worst Bama commitment and they wouldn't be disappointed at all if the lost him...

They have Sylve and Shinn committed, and have a great chance at pulling Brassell. They are just recruiting over him. I dont want him

Sadly ATM our program is in no condition to turn down Alabama's leftovers.

Haha we cant be signing any more WR's. 6 spots left and they are precious...

Clear
Richardson
CB- hopefully Moore
CB/S- hopefully Loften
LB- Dawson/Turene or both
DT/DE- Gabe/Mickey/Maggitt

I dont want any RB's unless its Lane or Bellamy

I agree. I am fine with Dallas and Arnett. Too bad we weren't in on any good JUCO WRs this year though. Really could have use the experience there next year.

And yes the last 6 spots are precious. IMO Clear, Tiny, Moore, Loften, Dawson, Maggitt, and NSD surprise.

Although a juco wr would be great with our lack of experience, i'm confident a spring practice will have hunter and rogers ready to handle the bulk of the snaps.....

I don't share your confidence quite as much. I'll be the first to tell anyone how excited I am over the big-play potential of Hunter and Rogers. However, they are ATM nowhere near ready to handle the bulk of the snaps. They combined to only catch 27 balls all year including the bowl game. They will be thrown into action next year as full time starters and I sure hope they are ready.

They will have no real veterans ahead of them to help them out. It's not everyday 2 true Sophomore are the veterans of the WR core, but that's the way it is looking. Hunter and Rogers both are all SEC talents, but I'm looking forward to seeing how Arnett fits in, and who, if anybody, will take over G. Jones duty as the 3rd down chain mover.

FWIW, Scout article today says his only scheduled visits are Louisville this weekend and Kentucky next weekend.

This is what worries me most about the passing game next year.... the 3rd down % was drastically different with Jones healthy

They were indeed, and Jones was directly involved in about 30% of the conversions. But I also think that part of it was just having another threat on the field. We did not have a single third down conversion by a wide receiver when Jones was out. This tells me that people just keyed on Denarius Moore and realized that no one else could hurt them. We should at least have enough next year to prevent that from happening, although it would be huge if Baggett could train somebody to find the soft spots like Jones.

Plus we didn't have an sec caliber qb playing when jones was out

I thought this was a part of the reason too, but it wasn't.

After Jones got back from injury, we converted 42% of third downs with Simms in the game. We converted 42% of third downs with Bray in the game.
