Also what helps us here is we have many of his friends and former teammates on the squad now. That HS is a solid pipeline right now for UA.

He only recruits kids for character and if they are from a religious background. Does this recruit qualify? Is he unrated or 1 star, if not he has no chance of being recruited by Dooley. Keep the faith, we'll be back just in time for my social security to kick in, oops that may not happen either, now the question which do I have more faith in Dooley bringing us back or social security being there for me??? haha hard choice.

Go sail your boat mouth breather

Solid pipeline? Saban might as well just send a list of the Gadsden players he wants and what date he would like them to arrive.

Hope it turns out to be more than talk. Do you think if he came to UT, Trimble would follow him? Why would Collins be considering switching? TIA

It would not surprise me. Apparantly this rumor has been floating around on our boards for some time now and alot of the people who seem to know things seem to think he was maybe looking to go elsewhere along with Woodson. A very good player but we really are not hurting at WR as much as we are for more spots for other players that might be looking our way. We also have a few top WR still looking at us.

In the end he might and maybe soon but to be honest a non position of need for us right now. I would rather see him go to UT before the Barn thats for sure.

Would be awesome if he decided to committ to us. The kid is legit plus he would be a nice add to the slot WR we're looking for. I wanna say before he committed to Bama we were in his top 3 so maybe he's still digging us.

Bama fans are praying Collins decommits. They already have Shinn and Woodson and WR wasn't a huge position of need this year. Alabama is limited on scholarships this year, and most fans wouldn't be upset if either Woodson or Collins was let go

1. Most Alabama fans are braindead, toothless morons.
2. If Saban (the one who actually decides these things) didn't want Collins he would tell him to go elsewhere and not feel the least bit bad about it.
3. Collins is a great player and ANY school would be lucky to have him.

4. 800th post. Suck it.

He is a great player. I think the feeling with some UA fans is if we lost him it would not hurt because of our current depth at WR. Plus the general census is we would pick up someone else just as good or better.

Now that could happen or it could back fire. But the thing is I think alot of WR do see the depth and knwo we run the ball first. If he is looking to go elsewhere it is because of that. CNS would not have offered if we did not want him.

If he goes elsewhere we are in pretty good shape for some other WR just as good. I just do not want to see him at the Barn or it will be another moral victory for them about how they atleast can beat us at recruiting.:dance2:

Did you make that up all by yourself?

Collins is a very underrated WR prospect, and will make an impact early on, in his career at Alabama. He's from a pipeline high school in GCHS in Gadsden, Alabama. So, he comes very well coached.

Limited scholarships or not, the Alabama staff wanted Collins in this class, or they would have not accepted a commitment, with so many other top WRs still interested.

Hubbs has an article up about this kid on Volquest. I didn't realize that he had three cousins already on the Tide roster. Kendall Kelly, Jerrell Harris, and Dre Kirkpatrick are related to him. I would say the odds of him going anywhere but Alabama are slim and none.
