I grew up a Vols fan and now Alumni. But I also always followed Michigan. Then, I moved there for 10 years. Always rooting for the Wolverines unless they play us. As for our current situation, I'm just hoping this shake up finally puts us in the right direction. Now, can you guys finally go beat Ohio State. Urban needs it bad.

Where does it stand now that Currie has been fired? Currie did speak to him on Thursday will whoever is in charge at TN still make an offer or will they screw this.

Mike Leach here would of been good i think. The fans would of got behind him. He's a little off his rocker but a damn good coach.

Let's hope Fulmer will take his millions from UT and quit trying to undermine another hire. Johnny Majors hasn't forgotten how he did him, now comes Currie? Who will be next?

"Other reports Friday have indicated former Tennessee coach Philip Fulmer has undermined and sabotaged Currie throughout the search process, which obviously did nothing to help his cause, especially amid the inability of the program to secure a deal with a new coach."

It’s been reported that Currie lied to big boosters and former football players regarding the coaching search. If Fulmer sabotaged anything, then we should all be thankful in this case. He may have just saved our football program.

Leach's offense would be a thing of beauty. Of course, he'll have to find an equally talented defensive coach for a balanced team - especially in the SEC.

That said, this once again shows how backwards the coaching search has been. How did we work our way "down" to Leach after Schiano, Brohm, Doeren, and Sumlin? If we continue holding out for another month, will we eventually get to interview Saban? I swear it's like Currie accidentally didn't realize that he was going through the list backwards.
