Leach was a major cause of Kiffin's firing at USC, seeing that he beat Kiffin with inferior talent.

If his DC doesn't get the HC job at Wash. St. i would think he would like to try out his speed defense in the SEC. Grinch is a good DC.

His current DC is doing a great job lol. Maybe do more research before you try to make a point.

No deal has been struck between Tennessee and Washington State's Mike Leach, and Tennessee AD John Currie is back in Knoxville. Currie is scheduled to meet Friday morning with chancellor Beverly Davenport and other school officials to reassess the search.

He just met with several coaches. He's debriefing and formally making the recommendation on the offer. Hopefully they'll get it done. Hopefully today.

Recruiting budget wasn't the problem at Tech. Location and the fact he was lazy on the recruiting trail were his biggest problems. Now in his favor, it doesn't take a roster of 5* recruits to make his system work. With UTs location and the amount oh high 3* and 4* kids that will naturally flock to Knoxville he could turn the SEC on it's ear.

And the pressers...the pressers would be pure gold.
