9-4 would be a flippin MIRACLE at this point, but NOT happening!!! lol for all those who think UT is going to run the table the rest of the year..GET REAL!!!! our D would have to be lights out and on all cylinders and the offense would have to be out of this world with bray throwing a zillion TD to win out and the bowl game also...but a 3-2 record the rest of the way is about what we will get...even if we did go 6-6, DD prob will still be shown the door..a subpar season for 3 yrs straight? Enough is enough, and the fans demand change and we havent seen it yet, and all this losing is getting real old REAL QUICK!!!

This is the exact reason I want it to happen. Like I said I'm not saying it will.... But coming on here and quoting posts like this would be great comedy

There is not one notable media person saying Gruden is coming to TN yet a message board has information that he is. Really? Inside information from the AD dept or some unknown booster who knows the Haslems. So if he doesn't come after all the inside info and rumors that would make every last one of you a bonafide LIAR. Remember that. The word is LIAR.

Dooley won't be going anywhere until after a bowl game bank on it.....um my sources say so! And all this gruden talk he is gonna coach the browns not the vols....plus he is subpar in the NFL ranks barley above .500 dungey defense made him I just don't see this hire taking place....it will be Saban think about it look what he did at bama he does the same here he goes down as greatest coach in history. Sources now say Saban bank on it

Look folks what we gripe about and say font mean squat just chill out forget the rumors pull for our team and see how it plays out...it's like wondering if grass grows at night chill out enjoy the season while it last win or lose! What will take place will happen in its own time

so after 6 glorious years at Alabama, you REALLY think UT can lure Saban AWAY from his current job and take THIS ONE??? I dont think so....Alabama would RIOT if he were to jump ship after this season....I DO NOT see this hire happening!! Bank on THAT!!! :devilsmoke:

Uh we'll I was not serious at all my friend but I'm just following all the other "sources" on VN I still think DD may get one more year to prove his system I don't think Gruden is coming here at all. BROWNS is his next home but the rumor of him at UT most likely came from his talks with Haslam I can see how easy it would be rumored....GBO

i still think DD is toast..the last 2 losses were the final nails in his coffin that will be lowered into the ground at the end of the season, and he out of UT and on to other endevours..at best he is an assistant somewhere in a FCS school, or an AD somewhere..but hes not HC material yet..not even close...UT pulled the trigger on this hire WAY too soon..Hamilton was a flippin IDIOT and destroyed this football program...its going to take a real miracle to get it turned around and back to prominence once again...I say if we get a "winner" of a coach perhaps next season it will take 3-5 years to gain respectibility again if the team has winning seasons each year..and then build on that...but is there a chance we land a coach that will be at UT for at least 10 yrs???

I would say that it has to be one of the following as these are the most popular choices :
1) He knows somebody that works in the ticket office
2) He knows somebody that works closely with the team
3) He knows one of the stadium vendors
4) He or someone he knows has a class with one of the players
5) His mother's sister's cousin's toothless aunt had lunch with Hart

I am in North Carolina around Raleigh, and there has been a LOT of chatter around here that UT is making a big play for Cutcliffe.
