This Schlabach idiot should have been one of the 300 laid off from ESPN -- I guess they just kept the lowest paid reporters

He may be an idiot...but he has the VOLS playing UNC in the belk bowl according to the attachment.

Oooh, a bowl game against Oregon would be delicious.

The SEC and Pac 12 don't have any bowl agreements due to being on different sides of the country. When Oregon played Auburn for the championship it was the first meeting in school history

North Carolina could be 11-2 going into the game vs Tennessee (if that's our bowl matchup)

Would be fun to destroy them on a national stage.

All bowl games are on a national stage and 99.9% of the people can't remember who played whom a week afterwards. While it would be great to destroy any opponent in a bowl game, the significance outside of the UT fanbase would be minimal.

Whatever the bowl, I hope there is some distance like Tampa or Dallas so the players can cash in on the travel expense.

I agree for non Power 5 teams. But I usually remember the P5 matchups, outside of PAC12 just because I'm not staying up until 2 am to watch their games.

I just want to play a relevant team in a bowl game. Or even if not relevant, a historically know team (such as Texas or Miami)

Wasn't there some discussion the MCB doesn't prefer UT because so many travel locally, it doesn't have the hotel and restaurant usage as teams from a greater distance?
