my sides are hurting from laughing so hard. Tcu is still a threat, sure but baylor? Down to fr qb and they have taken some hits on their starting rotation. What makes you think that ou is going to lose? Okie state gives us more cause for concern than the horned frogs and bears. Given the progress (at least to fans of ou that actually follow) the o has made and with new faces on the d side that are making plays, i'd take a rematch with the vols any day. Even with our shortcomings this year, we have made strides. You still have butch and debord.

I noticed that too Nut, I was surprised that Schlabach thinks we will miss out on a bowl.

Schlabach is a Georgia homer and Tennessee probably didn't enter his thoughts. I think he would probably have Tennessee in the Belk Bowl against NCSU,UNC or Duke like he did last week I believe.

We are obviously lower in the pecking order for bowls presently. Right now I would assume we are Belk, Liberty, or Tax Slayer Bowl bound.

While that's kind of a bummer, it only helps our chances at becoming 9-4 and ranked at seasons end. It's unlikely we play anyone in those bowl games that are a real threat to us.

We went to TaxSlayer last year at 6-6... Every bowl available to the SEC will be fighting over the Vols... They all know how well Volnation brings it to bowl games...

These Okies need to go home. They make me root for Baylor,TCU and Oklahoma State.

Big guy, I have been following the Vols for some time now. Go ahead and root for Baylor, TCU and Okie Lite. At least you will be rooting for teams with nothing less than 10-2 right now. I know you aren't used to that lately. Next year though, right? After the FR get used to flying around in planes and all, right? Right. Now get off my ass.

Kind of hoping for UNC in the Belk or Music City now (preferably the Music City).

We owe them for 2010 still, and we aren't going to be as easy as South Carolina...

Baylor lost their QB to a season ending injury. Not sure how they will be with the 2nd string QB.

That poster named BU Bear that comes on here quite a bit doesnt seem to worried -- is a gimmick offense and they recruit to fit the gimmick

I know that a Florida Bowl is bigger but I can't lie I am kind of hoping we land in Memphis or Nashville this season. My broke a** can't afford to travel this year.

Would love to be at the outback cheering on our boys for the 3rd time. I really hope it turns out better than Penn State though. That MLB killed us.

Maybe kinda selfish, but my boys just won us tickets to the Music City Bowl, so I hope thats where the Vols end up at.
