Bowl games!

Remember a couple of things. Butch is a little slow, and Butch coached in the big10 whipping boy conference. With time ... a lot of time and better than MAC talent, he can beat up on the mid level big10 teams. At least it worked before he lost Dobbs and Co.

I like Scott but he was an underwhelming "hire" when reassigned and I believe Butch knew that and was fine with it so he'd have someone else to point to regarding our woes.

Kiffen sucks, but 1 thing about the kiffen coached team, they was never a question about, lack of coaching. The guys could play.

I predicted 130 yards of total offense with Bama getting 270 yards rushing. Didn't think we would score though. The game went pretty much exactly as I envisioned it except I didnt think the refs would have as much of an impact as they did. What a joke they were in the first half. If you didnt see this coming, then you werent paying very close attention to our team the last 6 games.

Inexcusable for a coach in year 5. This team has one playmaker right now - Kelly. The rest of the offense is either a recruiting bust, underdeveloped, or not being utilized. All of this falls on Coach Jones. The man is a snake oil salesman and our caretakers of the program are apparently gutless cheapskates. I can't believe he is still coaching this team. Currie must fix this mess or he should leave town. 101-16 in the last 3 games! Less than 6 points per game average in the last 4 games. There should have been a firing of Butch Jones the next day after Georgia. I would at least like the conversation tonight to be that there will be a press conference to be scheduled tomorrow to end this failed regime, but I personally think this administration and its boosters are too freaking cheap to do what is needed.

Stop deflecting. There is ONE GUY who has built this thing "brick by brick". Scott inherited Jones' crap... he didn't create it.

I'm curious how much control Scott has. I think Butch insists on sticking with a gameplan and never really deviates from it, unless he gives the say so...hence the complete lack of in-game and half-time adjustments throughout his tenure here. Hopefully when he's gone we hear some reports as to how much control Scott actually had. Lord knows we'd never get the full truth from Bajakian.

It seemed like a cop-out because it was. Same story goes with the promotion of Walt Wells and hiring this former UNT QB coach. Completely unacceptable for a coach making 4.1 mil to bring in lower tier guys to a big boy ball conference. Brady Hoke seemed more like an attempt to appease to his former co-worker and buddy, perhaps returning an earlier favor? The whole shift in the coaching staff, Hoke and Shoop included (hello massive buyout #3) all felt like a giant cash grab. I swear Butch lost all interest in coaching last year -- his hires seem to reflect that attitude as well -- wanted some "splash hires" to calm the fans while he quietly snuck in some lower tier coaches at a bargain. He's looking out for himself and helping HIS coaches get paid handsomely, while he's got some fall guys to push blame on.

Look at Rock, for example. Something like the 5th highest paid S&C coach and he may be here less than a year... plus he's got quite the buyout, too. $$$$$!

Butch and his peers gettin' rich while he sets us in the hole...right back to Dooley level talent.
